I woke up to someone shaking me gently it was Zane and I said “hey” and I sat up on the bench and he said beside me and he said

“Sorry about before did you have a nice rest”

I just said nothing I was to afraid of him yelling at me again and he said

“Please tell me why you are covered in cutes and bruises I can tell there are some old ones and the one on your rib cage is recent”

“well ever since my dad died and my step mother started hitting me and pushing me into things causing me to cut myself she never liked me she only used my dad for money and nothing else she hated me and when my dad was never around she would always hit me and tell me im useless and all that and at school people always threw me into the lockers and push me around everyday I would have new cuts and bruises I have been in hell for years and it never ends”

When I finished telling him I notice I had tear streaming down my face I put my knees up to my chest and dig my face in my arms and started crying and Zane lifted my head and wiped away my tears he lifted me up bridal style and carried me in the house and up the stairs and he walked into his room and laid me on his bed and he said

“sorry Emma but im hungry”

I looked at him in fear his eyes were red and his fangs were growing how could he say that I just opened up to him I sat up as quick as I could but not in time to run he put his hand on my shoulder and put his other hand on chin and moved my face to the left side and I said

“please don’t”

He started kissing my neck to find the spot he wanted to bite and he put his arm around my back as he bit through my neck I arch my back as laid me on the bed as he was biting me and I screamed out in pain and he cover my mouth with his hand to stop me from screaming and I let tears fall down and wimped in pain until I felt my eyelid get heavier and heavier and then everything went black.

ZANES *POV*

I know she opened up to me and I made her let me drink from her but she is human and im a vampire I can’t fall for her no way when she wakes up tomorrow the first thing I will write a list of things for her to do she is my slave and nothing else

I walked to my office and started to write a note saying

Emma

          I have a list of chores for you to do if you do not complete them you will be punished

-         clean my room

-         clean my office

-         sweep the floors

-         water the plants inside

-         make me dinner at 6:30 pm sharp  

    You are not to go outside or you will be punished you are not to help the other maid or talk to her (Kate)

I walked back in to my room were she was sleeping she looked so peaceful and beautiful when she was sleep wait no stop why am I thinking that I put the note on the bed side table and left the room

I woke up again in the Zane’s room and I notice there was another note on the bedside table and it said

Emma

      I have a list of chores for you to do if you do not complete them you will be punished
