Chapter 14: Peach's Dream

Whoosh

I opened my eyes. Billions of stars surrounded me. I looked to my right, to see my mother, Queen Melody, who was unconscious. I looked to my left to see my father, King Marius, whose crown was a couple of feet away from his head. I quickly stood up and found that I had short stubby legs and arms, short hair, and a pacifier in my mouth. I was an infant. I ran to my mother to try to revive her. She woke up. She grabbed me into her arms and hugged me

"My child, you are okay.", she said. She gently put me down and went to revive father. I looked around. I was on some sort of space ship platform. It was very dark and eerie. There was another family unconscious on the purple crystal floor. A king in a cyan uniform lay across the ground, along with a beautiful queen, with a beautiful blue gown. Next to her was a little girl, about seven years of age, with red hair with the same hairstyle of the queen, and she was wearing a white gown. There was also a little boy, about four years of age, who had a crown and also wore a cyan uniform.

"Melody, please revive the others.", said my father from behind me, "I'll go find Toadsworth and Damien."

Father ran down the ship. My mother woke up the family of four and they all exchanged worried looks. Father walked back with my fellow servant Toadworth, with his usual red coat and bow-tie, with his bushy brown mustache. Behind him was a giant turtle-dragon monster, with green skin and blonde hair, with a spiked blue shell on his back. I looked to my left, and the king and queen in the blue were talking with the redheaded girl, who was sobbing.

"How could we be so blind, we should've known that he would manipulate the children, and now we're here.", said the turtle-dragon.

"Damien's right, we don't have much time before, it, happens.", said father.

"How do you suppose we get back? According to what he said we only have a day!", yelled Toadsworth. The king and queen walked over to the group with the girl and the boy, who were their children.

"We have to protect the children. We would all be terribly mournful and depressed if something were to happen to them.", exclaimed the king.

"Avior is right.", replied mother, "Quorra, do you have any ideas."

"I know an object that can reverse the works of the Vortexnes.", stated the queen, "It's called the Cygnioch, I always bring it with me in case of an emergency like this."

"Well what are we waiting for?", said Damien, "My brother and my children are probably wondering where I am."

"WHO IS THERE?!?!?"

I looked around, dark star-shaped creatures began to surround us. My father grabbed me into his arms.

"WHY ARE YOU TRESPASSING ON MY SHIP?!?!?!? LEAVE NOW OR DIE!!!!"

"We're lost!!", shouted King Avior, "We appeared here unintentionally!!"

"WAKE UP!"

"WAKE UP!"

"WAKE UP!"

"Wake up!", yelled Bowser, "We're about to leave."

I was awake now, back into the lab of Dr. Elvin.

"I'm sorry, I had a bad dream.", I replied.

"Don't-a-worry Peach, it was only-a-dream.", said Mario with a reassuring smile.

"Yes,", I said, "Only a dream..."
