Prince Aidan was just swiftly moving along the path in the garden. His bright, blue blazer covered his white T-shirt. He didn't seem to notice me watching, but every once in a while I would see the whites of his eyes. I wanted to go down there and meet him and have a long conversation with him, but I couldn't. That's when his whole body faced towards me. I ducked down so he couldn't see me.
"I could see you!" He hollered jokingly. So much for trying to hide.
"No you can't!" I screamed back. I still hid.
"Just come out." He said. I didn't know if I should do what he told me. What if he sends me home?! I didn't care. I stood up and waved. He grinned. I probably looked like a slob. My hair in a sloppy bun and a tired face. "Hello Miss Cassidy!"
I was flabbergasted. "How do you know my name?"
"Well I try to memorize them. And I know who's room is who's." That's summed it up.
"Oh." I replied dumbly. "Well, I think I should go back in my room."
"Yeah I think so. But don't tell anyone about this!" He was definitely serious.
"Okey dokey!" I don't care how I act around him anymore, he's seen me in my pajamas.
I hurried back into my room, hopefully my maids weren't there. But with my luck, they were right inside listening. "Oh geez!"
"Sorry miss! We couldn't help it!" Delilah said.
"Whatever, but you heard what he said. No one says a word!" I remarked. I trusted my maids and I knew they would follow orders, so no problem there. "Let's have..." I thought for a second then eyed the pillow at the head of my bed. "A PILLOW FIGHT!!!" I grabbed the pillow and my maids put their arms up in defense an they took the others around it. We laughed all night long until I started yawn.
The bed was so comfortable. Maybe a bit more than the one I have at home. I talked to Lucia a bit after Aurora and Delilah left to their rooms. Then I fell into a deep, deep slumber.
* * *
My rest was grand and I leaped out of bed right as Lucia was about to shake me awake. "Woah!"
"Oh sorry." I giggled and the three of them joined in. "I just can't wait to meet Prince Aidan!"
"After your encounter last night." Aurora whispered.
"Oh no!" I fell back onto my bed. "I forgot all about that!"
"Sorry." Aurora said.
"It's fine, Rora." I gave them all nicknames last night. "What if he kicks me out?!"
"He won't miss!" Delilah chimed in.
"Thanks Lilah!" I perked up. "Maybe he won't. We'll just have to see." The bath was already running and I climbed after I took off my clothes. I felt comfortable with my maids like they are my best friends. I told them to call me Cass, but they said miss would be better so I let them call me that.
My morning dress was beautiful. It was a sundress that went down to my knees. It was simple and one of my favorite colors. Mint green. There was a bow right above the left side of my waist. Once again my maids made me look gorgeous. "Thanks girls! I better get down to breakfast now!" I sounded so excited. I just couldn't wait to see Prince Aidan again.
When I arrived at the dining hall, I saw Tatiana, but no prince or any of the royal family. They better be coming! I thought. I then spotted a seat open next to Peyton, so I scurried over to sit in it.
