Chapter 2

Hayes had been your best friend since kindergarten. You and him went through everything together. And you always had this crush on him but you ignored it when he started dating your best friend Ellie in 6th grade.
You got jealous of Ellie because you told her that you had a crush on Hayes. So when they broke up, you didn't talk to her because she would just annoy you and talk about all the amazing times she had with him.
When he got famous, he hadn't talked to you in a while, and he won't text/call/FaceTime you.
One day you got a little mad at him for not answering your text but he posted something on Instagram about how happy he was without any worries, 15 minutes after you sent the text. Once you saw the picture, you sent him a DM saying,
"Hey! I miss you, when ya coming home??"
You wait a couple hours before you decide to call him. You started to think that he was getting annoyed and he was ignoring you. After he didn't answer the call, text, DM, and FaceTime, you got really pissed and you spammed him. You saw the notification on iMessage that he read them all but he didn't answer.
Since you were really mad right now, you decided to take a shower to calm down and relax. Right before you got in the bathroom to take off your clothes, you hear the doorbell. You think it's one of your parents since they come home late and sometimes forget the key. You go downstairs and look through the peephole and scream.
Hayes.
You open the door and he has his arms held out but you jump and wrap your legs around his waist and hug him tightly. He holds you up by your thighs and hugs you tightly as well.
Once the hug that felt like an hour long ended, he got down on one knee and said:
"(Y/f/n), I have had a crush on you since 5th grade, I always tried to make you like me in all possible ways, but then Ellie dated me."
You heard the disgust in his voice from saying Ellie. You giggled a little from that.
"Once we broke up, I acted like a butt to you. I'm sorry. Then I became famous and I hadn't seen you in forever do I decided to surprise you. By saying this."
You get a little worried and then start smiling when he says:
"Will you make me the happiest 15 year old and be my girlfriend?"
You start blushing and laughing. He laughs along with you.
"Yes, of course! I would love to be your girlfriend!"
He stands up and you give him a bear hug and he kisses you on the cheek.
"Wanna go watch some Netflix and talk about us??"
"Sure! Let's go."
