Hey! I decided to update today and I might update again soon! Hope you all have a great Christmas and a happy new year! This one is dedicated to @ILUVCARTERREYNOLDS bc she asked for it, btw I love her username, lmao. Hope you enjoy!!
**Sage's POV**
Today was my first official date with my boyfriend Jake. We've been dating for 2 months and the only "dates" we've done are Netflix and chill and things like that, but today's is different. He asked me to go on this date on Thursday for Sunday; today is Sunday. He told me to meet him at the center of the park at 6:30pm. It was 4:50pm right now so I have time to get ready.
Since I'm not so good at getting super fancy quickly so I called over my friend, Alissa. She da bomb at getting perty, fast. (Lmao)
"Hey Alissa can you come over today?"
"Sure why?"
"Oh I'm going on a date with Jake and you know how to get dressed nicely and do all the makeup and stuff."
"Thanks and yeah I'm on my way now."
"Mkay see ya soon!"
"Bye!"
I put my phone down and start getting my things ready to take a quick shower and be done before Alissa gets here. When I'm about to get in the shower I hear my phone ring in my bedroom. Since there's nobody in the house except me and the windows are closed, I went and got my phone. The screen flashed Jakes face and I had to answer.
"Hey babe"
"Hey!"
"Are you exited to see what I set up for you?"
"Yess! I was actually about to get in the shower, to be all clean and pretty, when I heard my phone ring, and of course, I answered it."
"Oh okay. I'll let you get all ready and cleaned up so that I can see your beautiful face again this evening."
"Yup. Be prepared! Haha"
"Okay, bye!"
"Bye!"
After he ended the call I heard the doorbell ring, that could only mean one thing, Alissa was here. She lived like 15 minutes away. I guess she was somewhere near when I called her because it's been like 5 minutes! I got my bathrobe, put it on, and answered the door.
"Hey!"
"Hey!"
"Oh sorry I didn't mean to interrupt your shower."
"It's fine, I just got off the phone with Jake anyway."
"Oh what did he say?"
"He just told me to be prepared for an amazing surprise!"
"Oh cool!"
"Yup. So, you can get prepared and set up everything, and I'll take a shower really quickly and we'll get started on my makeover!"
"Okay, let's do this!"
After I was done taking my shower, Alissa was just about finished setting up.
"Okay so what do you want to start with?"
"Umm I don't know. And do I have to put my clothes on right now or after the makeup?"
You could do it now because you might move a little while putting your clothes on and ruin your make up. And I promise I won't drop anything on you haha!"
"Okay but what should I wear?"
"Lemme see your clothes."
I brought her to my closet and she was amazed.
"Earth to Alissa!"
"Oh haha sorry I was just surprised that you have so much beautiful clothes!"
"I do?"
"Yeah look at this dresss!"
"Woah I didn't know I had that haha!"
"Well you should wear that!"
"Okay let's do it!"
Once I put on the gorgeous dress, we started the makeup. First, she started with the foundation and base things. Then, she did my contouring and eyes. Lastly, she just swiped a sheer red lipstick on and she was done! It was 6:05 so I had time to chill out.
"Well I think you have to go now right?"
"Yeah I guess so, well thank you so much for helping me get prepared. Maybe sometime I'll try to repay you haha"
"Yeah sure. But no problem."
"You the best."
"I know I know, but have fun and tell me every detail when you come back home okay?"
"Okay! Okay. Well thanks again"
"Anytime, bye!"
"Bye!"
Since the park was only like about 10 minutes away, I could walk there. I wasn't in heels though, I had on flats.
Once I got there I didn't see Jake. I took out my phone and looked at the time. It's was 6:25 I was a little early but I suppose that he would've been here, right? I called Jake.
"Hey babe"
"Hey what's up?"
"Um where are you?"
"Oh, uhh, oh I see you, just turn to your right a little, keep turning, okay stop. Lemme stand up."
"Okay... Ohh I see you!"
I ended the call and went walking towards him.
"Oh my goodness! Jake!"
"You like it?"
"No!"
"What?! You don't?"
"No, I love it!!"
"Awh I should've known you were gonna say that haha!"
"Wow! Jake,you didn't have to do all this for me!"
"Nah this? This is nothing."
"Of course it is!!"
There was a little red and plaid blanket on the green grass and a little brown, sewn up basket with food in it. The view was amazing! Since there was a little pond and the sunset was gorgeous! It was a mixture of red, orange, pink, purple, and yellow all in the sky with white fluffy clouds. It was like a dream come true, to see this physically in front of me and not in movies.
"Well, shall we start eating m'lady?" He said in a British accent
"Of course we may" I answered back with a British accent as well.
"Haha, so what's on the menu?"
"Well I brought fettuccine in Alfredo sauce. Grapes, bananas, and apple slices. And orange juice for a drink. I know what your probably thinking, this is so childish and healthy."
"Hahaha NO! This is amazing Jake! Oh my gosh I can't thank you enough!"
"Well, they don't call me the love attractionist for no reason. Haha"
"Yeah nobo-"
I got cut off by a kiss. Oh my gosh I can't believe this is happening!! I can finally cross this off my bucket list! Haha. It felt like this kiss was going to last forever but in reality it only lasted like 5 seconds. But it was still full of love and wonder.
"Jake! What was that for?"
"Didn't you like it?"
"Well yeah but, still you could've gave me a hint.
"Sorry, I've just wanted to do that for the longest time and I finally did!"
"I love you."
"I love you more!"
"I love you-"
"Most."
After that happened we just stared at each other, we just couldn't get enough of us, until my stomach awkwardly growled and ruined the moment.
"Are you hungry?"
"Well, I guess so haha."
"Well then, lets dig in!"
