Bitch in disguise ®
"You choose your friends; your friends don't choose you..." This saying is so true, yet so many people fail to realise. Some people wanna be popular so bad that they make friends with the popular kids, who might not even value their personality. They'd rather just adjust their personality so it could match the popularity they're aiming for. The whole point of making friends is to make friends with people that appreciate who you are. Not with people you know are bitches inside-out. It's worth making friends that will last forever, 'cause forever is the time span for the best-est friendship.
CHAPTER FIVE : FAKE TEARS, FAKE FRIENDS AND A BIG TIME PLAYER INDEED.
*~*Debbie*~*
-----
Reva Maktul is my science partner? I just feel like screaming over the rooftops in joy.
Oh Debbie! You're really blessed.
Riiiiiinnnnggggggg goes the bell. It's time for lunch. So far today has been interesting to say the least. My plan to get Matt is finally falling into place. Even though I have to plan the perfect date for my brother and Reva; and a major test coming up though, it seems the universe is finally on my side.
Still at my locker, putting my books away, I notice the halls are slightly empty. "People are probably in the cafeteria or somewhere else!" I murmur to myself.
Suddenly I hear a feminine voice say, "Well hello."
I turn around and I see Poppy a few steps behind. "Hi Poppy. How you doing?" I say plastering a fake smile on my face with fake enthusiasm.
"Look here bitch!" she starts. "Stay away from Matt, okay? I know sluts like you. They come out of nowhere trying to destroy a perfect relationship but listen up. He - is - mine. And don't you ever forget that."
My eyeballs immediately pop out from shock. I can't even say anything. She was so nice to me in Matt's presence, well obviously. Even though I was kinda expecting it, considering the fact that I had been getting hostile vibes when we met in biology class, it's still shocking.
Poppy then walks away with her friends and I'm left there just staring into infinity.
"Wow!" I say to myself. "My day keeps on getting interesting, huh?"
I head towards the cafeteria and I enter to sit with my friends. It still sounds weird; me having friends and all that. They're really cool, although a little bit nerdy but most especially, they're real and I like that.
We keep talking when I catch Poppy's eyes on me. Something is definitely going down because her stare makes me think she's up to something.
Few minutes later, I look back and I see Poppy walking towards me with her tray. Well here goes nothing! Just as she gets to my side, she spills all the contents on me. My clothes immediately soak up all the junk, turning it into a freaking halloween costume. In shorter words, I look a total mess.
"Oops, my bad," she says, bursting into a laughter.
Suddenly, the whole cafeteria is bursting with laughter as well. I'm honestly confused. What's so funny about a girl spilling her leftovers on someone else?
