Hollywood mourns the loss of Hans Potterman: Giselle Norton calls him the greatest human she's ever known!

Francis Barton, Celebrity Correspondent, Industry Insider

03 September 2015, New York City

It was a sad day for international film industry when news broke out that thirty five year old actor Hans Potterman committed suicide in his apartment two days ago.

Various film shootings have been suspended and top actors and actresses are flying into the JFK international for the private funeral services tomorrow night at the St Patrick's Cathedral. Industry Insider spotted prominent stars including Edward Lowell and his wife exiting the airport, looking harried. Also spotted was Potterman's mentor and actress-director Giselle Norton as she leaned against her son for support.

In her grief, she very politely answered when asked how she was holding up.

"Hans was the greatest and the most talented young man I have ever known. It is a big, big loss to all of us."

The widow of dramatist Sir Oliver Norton, Madam Norton first came in contact with Potterman when he auditioned for a play she directed with her husband at San Francisco. Potterman had subbed for a sick actor. Although the play was a failure, the Nortons - especially Giselle - were particularly impressed with the acting skills of the then eighteen year old star. She also directed his first big screen appearance, 'The Dreams We See' for which he won the BAFTA award for best debut male act.

Hans Potterman interviewed by Derrick Jones on the Emmys Red Carpet

[Full interview - 24 August 2015]

Derrick: Look who's here! Mr Potterman, it's a delight to see you sir!

Hans: Thanks, Derrick. How is my favourite interviewer doing?

Derrick: [blushes] Oh, you know, sir. Life's been great so far!

Hans: I heard you just landed your record deal with Two Lions. Congrats, man! Your YouTube covers are awesome.

Derrick: Wow, Thank you, sir. It means a lot. You are nominated for the Leading Male Actor tonight. How does it feel?

Hans: Ah, nervous. [chuckles] No, really. 'Kennedy'' was the biggest TV project I was ever a part of. So, yeah, I'm honoured to be nominated along so many wonderful people.

Derrick: Well, Mr Potterman, good luck! And thanks for the interview!

Hans: Thank you.

Adam.

Hey, man. How are you?

It's been so long since we actually had a civil conversation that I forgot we are mature enough to do so without ending up with a purple eye.

God, how i miss them. How I miss you.

Adam, I never really remember when we actually met, you know? You were always the kid who sat in the front row of class. The chill dude. The student who somehow managed to score a four - point - oh GPA while pulling the most hilarious pranks. God, did you have a sense of humour.
