'Actor Hans Potterman called me for drug prescription the night he died': Dr Gilpins confesses

A day after the funeral service of actor Hans Potterman who committed suicide in his apartment in Beverly Hills, his medical rep Dr Sarah Gilpins reveals the details of the phone call between the late actor and herself only hours before his alleged suicide.

The Los Angeles police have been busy searching the apartment of Potterman for clues that may indicate his state of mind. When the call log of Potterman's mobile phone was checked, it was found that the last call he made was to Texas based Harvard medical school graduate, Dr Sarah Gilpins who was also Mr Potterman's personal medical fitness expert.

Acting Inspector of Police, Deputy Stark stated that when they reached the house Dr Gilpins shared with her businessman husband, she was crying.

Dr Gilpins went on to say, "I didn't know he would do it. I swear, officer, I didn't know."

After being calmed down, the police recorded her saying, "Hans called me on the evening of twenty eighth of August 2015 at around seven pm. He told me he had been coughing mildly all day and his chest was hurting. He asked me if I could prescribe some painkillers. Hans had a very mild condition of asthma and the attacks had been getting more severe.

"So I told him to try his inhaler, thinking it was another one of attacks. He said, 'But Dr Gilpins, it isn't my lungs that are hurting. It's my heart.' When I asked him to rate his pain on a scale of ten, he told me it felt like it couldn't be measured but he thought it was a seven.

"The symptoms seemed common. So I suggested him taking an Aleve and if it still continued, take some point one percent of heroin and the mildest dosage of Cannabis he could find at the drugstore."

The police have taken Dr Gilpins into custody.

Did she do it deliberately? Was the prescription to Potterman intentional? Or did multi award winner Hans Potterman willingly commit suicide?

Hans: [still laughing] Why would people be interested in my...ah, beard of all things?

[Frank reaches out and rubs Hans's hands. Hans inches away. Laughter.]

Frank: Oh, you naive little thing. [Coos] Didn't you know that people are curious about every part of yours?

[Laughter]

Hans: That's...disturbing. [bewildered look at the audience]

Frank: You've never grown a beard before. Why start now? Not that it doesn't look good on you, because eighty two percent of the audience voted that they found you more attractive with a beard.
