Chapter 13

I walked through the doors of hell a.k.a school and everyone was staring at me with no emotion on their faces. I held my books tight up to my chest and stared down at my feet while walking to class. I was the first one there.

People started walking in and talking quietly amoungst themselves. I hid my face in my hands feeling vulnerable.

"Are you ok?" I heard a familiar male voice. I turned my eyes to see Isac staring at me and shook my head. He looked down and it suddenly fell awkward.
Mr. Collins walked up to our desk.
"Good to see you back Miss.Aura" He forced a smile on his but even I could see it was fake.

*skip to end of the day*

I wandered into detention and sat in the window seat again, staring out. Isac surprised me by pulling the seat out in front of me and sitting on it backwards, leaning his arms on the back and facing me.

"What happened today?" He blurted out sorrowfully. I didn't reply I just stared out of the window again.
"You can talk to me you know."

"I'm contemplating." I finally responded. My tone a little too harsh.

I'm having doubts on whether I can actually trust Isac or not. It sounds stupid but Mikey actually told me what Isac did to his sister. He was acting the same as he is now. 'Pretending to care' as Mikey put it. Should I believe him? I mean he knows Isac better than I do... But in a way Isac makes me feel safe. When I'm around him the whole world just desolves!

I guess my hormones are just all over the place and my head is in spirals!
4:30 and I could finally leave. I grabbed my bag as quick as I could and asconded out the room.

I heard loud footsteps approaching and felt a hand snake around my arm; pulling me towards them.
I stared back to see Isac staring down at me with a frown.

"What the hell is going on with you?" His voice became deeper and more raspy. I just stared into his eyes with a frown.
"Is this what you do? Attach onto the new girl because you think she doesn't know who you really are." My statement stunned him for a second.

"What are you talking about?"

"Mikey told me what you did to his sister Nora." I crossed my arms as he shoved his hands in his pockets.

"So you know." He looked at me stupifiedly.

"I know everything Isac." He frowned down at the floor.
"I always knew you were a jerk" I turned away but he pulled me back again. "Its different I care about you Ash."

"Yeah thats what you said to Nora." I turned away again but he pulled me back and smashed his lips onto mine. I was shocked but I responded and wrapped my arms around his neck. I surprised myself by my actions... His arms snaked around my waist and we pulled away still holding each other.

"If I didn't care I wouldn't have done that." He smiled causing me to smile back. I leaned up and kissed him quickly.

"I have to go." I pulled away from him but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me closer again, holding my hips, causing me to giggle.
"Isac I'm serious." I hit his shoulder gently.

"Okay fine. In a minute." He chukled and leaned down locking our lips again.

I pulled away and waved to him.
"Bye Isac." I hopped in dads car smiling like an idiot. What just happened? Somehow when he kissed me I completely forgot about the Nora thing.

*skip to next day*

"Omg Ellie. I have to tell you something." I squealed and rushed over to her. She looked at me weirdly and smiled wide.
"What is it?"
"He kissed me." We both squealed (she still doesn't know who it is) and then cooled down when everyone was staring at us. I grabbed her arm and ran to the toilets.

"Okay tell me everything. How was it?" She nudged my arm. I was about to speak but she continued.
"Did you use tongues?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"No." Her facial expression dropped. "Oh." She said a little disappointed. "Well at least he kissed you." She jumped up and down like a little girl. "Oh. I need to get to class. Talk to you later yeah?" I waved and skipped out the toilets.

I walked into class and Isac was looking as grumpy as ever. You know the usual.

"Ooh, you're looking cheery today." I teased as I sat down.
"I'm in school. School is pain." He grumbled and I just stared at him. He's such an idiot -I know I say it all the time- but he's my idiot.

"Right class. I hope you revised because you have a test today." What? He's joking... what? Please tell me he's joking... He hands out all the papers. Nope he wasn't joking. I'm gonna fail.
I opened the paper up and read the first question. Oh crap, I don't know this... Think Ashley, think.
Nah I'll come back to that question. Seriously, I don't understand anything on this test.

*skip to after school*

We sat how we were yesterday. It's became our seats now.
"I failed that test." I pouted.
"Me too."
"You're too much of a distraction in class." I crossed my arms and he stared at me pulling a face.
"Oh so I'm a distraction now?" He smirked.
"Shut up. You know what I mean." I slap his arm gently, looking out the window. My face drops as I see the one thing I would have never expected in a million years.
"Whats wrong?" Isac asks.

"Its Ellie..." I turn to face him and he shrugs.
"...And she's with Mikey..." I gulped and Isac stared at me with a worried facial expression.

He can't be with her.

She can't be with him.

It's not right.

He kidnapped me...

He's the dangerous one...

I texted Ellie and saw Mikey grab the phone off her. He stared up at the window at me and Isac smirking as he wrapped his arm around Ellie's shoulder, strolling off with her under his arm.

This can't be happening...

This isn't real...
