Punishment (Matt x Mello)

Chapter 1

Matt was sitting on the bed, playing Legend of Zelda on his DS when he heard the door of the dorm being shot and Mello furiously bursting in. "I can't take that little bitch anymore! I'm really fed up with being considered as second!" Mello shouted, before crashing on his bed, bursting into tears. He was having one of his breakdowns again, these were happening quite a lot recently. Yeah, Mello hated Near, that was a fact everyone knew but these days his anger and hatred had become worse. Matt was afraid of Mello hurting himself. As Mello sobbed into his pillow, Matt just sat calmly on the bed, waiting for the blonde to calm down, he knew it would be even worse if he tried to calm him down right now. He could hear him murmur something under his breath about Near and how much he hated him. As the time passed Mello's sobs slowed down. He came into a sitting pozition to face a worried Matt, looking at him and playing with his DS at the same time. This made a small smile form on Mello's face. When the redhead noticed that his friend was better now, he knew it was time to cheer him up. He unwantingly closed his DS, giving a look similar to the one you give when you break up with someone, as he placed his beloved console on the bed. He sat next to the blonde on the bed, running his hand trough the blond's soft hair. This was something Matt often did, he just loved the soft texture of his friend's hair and couldn't help but touch it.
