Chapter 3

I woke up to what felt like a speed bump. My head may or may not have hit the bottom of the top bunk. I opened my eyes to see a tired Jamie lying in front of me. Our arms were wrapped around each other and our legs were all tangled up. I had been using his chest as a pillow although, I usually don't use pillows. I kind of just hug the pillow and pretend it's a person when I do have a pillow. I looked up at him then kissed his cheek.

"Good morning," I smiled.

"Umm, good morning to you too Drew," I heard Casey's voice right outside my bunk. Shit. I forgot we were on tour.

"Is anyone else awake?"

"Umm, Tabby is making a cup of coffee in the other room, Cadan is getting dressed in the bathroom so we can go get some breakfast, and I haven't seen Jamie or Connor wake up yet."

With great difficulty and as quietly as I could, I grabbed the closest t-shirt I could find with my feet and slid it up to my hands so I could put it on. While doing so, Jamie handed me my pair of black skinnies and helped me get those on. What can I say? I don't like sleeping in clothes, boxers and a bra at most. We managed to switch places and I handed him his jeans and the next closest shirt. I carefully got out of my bunk, making sure no one could see Jamie.

"So, where is everyone going for breakfast?"

"Okay one, you're really bad at making it look like you two aren't a thing and two, we're not sure; we were going to wait for you three to wake up."

"What? We're not a thing; he has a girlfriend. We're just friends," I said more so to persuade myself.

"Then explain this."

"What?"

"Why are you wearing his Dark Side of the Moon t-shirt?" Shit. I grabbed the wrong one.

"Well, umm..."

"And also explain to me why he's in your bunk," she smirked. God dammit Casey, why does she know everything even when I don't tell her things?

"I don't like sleeping in clothes or alone. No one thinks it was anything, right?"

"No, Tabby was too tired to do anything except make coffee and Cadan didn't bother to check. I'm only warning you because of all the shuffling, the way you said good morning, your shirt, and I heard you guys last night," she chuckled to herself, "you guys are lucky Connor is a heavy sleeper."

"Ugh," I face palmed and opened the curtain to my bunk, "you can come out," I sighed. He crawled out with somewhat of a dorky smile on his face.

"Everyone already knows that you're not a couple. You just have to be careful around fans and paparazzi. Anyways, I think you'd be a cute couple. Why aren't you dating?"

"Media is shit."

"Creepy fan fictions," I added.

"We're just friends."

"He has a girlfriend," a beautiful one at that.

"I have a girlfriend."

"He has a girlfriend."

"The fans ship you and Drew, and Cadan and me more than they ship us," Jamie finished the debate.

"Okay, I get it," Casey looked annoyed. She walked back to the front area of the bus and slid the door shut behind her. Jamie and I swapped our clothes back and he headed out first then me about five minutes later, so it would look less like we had done anything because we hadn't.

"Cadan, how the hell does it take you so long to get ready?" Tabby was banging on the bathroom door.

"Straightening, body spray, clothes, and makeup take a long time to apply."
