I opened my eyes back up and saw Jamie watching me.

"What time is it?" I yawned.

"Around 8:00. All Time Low is going to finish up pretty soon."

"Do you want to go meet some people?" I asked while standing up and holding out my hand.

"Sure," he took my hand and smiled.

There were a few people by our bus and there were loads by As It Is and All Time Low. All Time Low hadn't even finished yet and people were waiting by their bus. That's amazing. Jamie let go of my hand right as we got off the bus.

"We can't make it look like we're together, remember?" he whispered to me. I nodded remembering why it would be a bad idea. I ran over all of the reasons it would be bad to be as friendly as we are. He has a girlfriend, scary fan fictions, he's just a friend, and he has a girlfriend. He has a beautiful girlfriend.

We walked toward some people that were pretty close to our bus. Tabby, Connor, Cadan, and Casey were all by the merch table either signing or selling something. Goodness, they look like pros and here Jamie and I are just getting out of the bus. We're geniuses.

"Hi guys," I smiled really awkwardly and waved because how the hell would I know what to do? Everyone cheered. I guess I'm doing something right?

"Hello," a girl with really nice blue hair and a Blink 182 t-shirt approached the table.

"There, angel from my nightmare," I continued with the song which made her smile.

"Would you be able to sign this and um, make it out to Jackie?" she handed me our album, What Happens When I'm Alone.

"I had a good friend named Jackie," I smiled and handed her the album. "Also, I love your hair. Also again, can we take a picture together?" We took the picture and she walked away before I could make it more awkward. I'm thinking about making a collage or scrapbook with everyone I meet.

My awkwardness continued for another two hours. I wanted to make sure I met everyone that had waited in line and hug everyone who needed it and I also wanted a picture with them. That's not weird is it? It's not weird that I feel the need to take a picture with anyone who waits for us? I'm not going to answer that for myself.

Most of the people had left for All Time Low or As It Is, so the Defectless Xenogenesis line was empty. Cadan, Connor, Tabby, and Jamie had already headed inside so it was just Casey and I at the table. It was pretty quiet compared to earlier and Casey was just playing music on her phone. Wait a minute. I have an amazing idea. I ran to the bus and grabbed Lawliet.

"Oh god, what are you doing now?" Casey rolled her eyes.

"I am going to uke!" I raised L like a mighty sword and began to play. It was intense. It wasn't intense. It wasn't in tents either. It was by a table and Casey was the only other person here. Then again, ukulele music can only get so intense without being in tents. A tall boy walked over to our table. He had a blue beanie and dyed blonde hair. I don't know why I always notice hair first. He looked like he was maybe nineteen.

"Hey, you guys opened for AII and ATL, right?"

"Yes," I said while continuing to play ukulele.

"You guys were awesome."

"Thanks, did you enjoy the show?"

"Yeah," he moved his hair out of his face. "So, how do you say your bands name? Sorry, it's just hella confusing."

"Defectless Xenogenesis, but DX is easier to say. We don't even usually say the name on stage for the fear of messing it up," I laughed.

"Yeah, you just had to pick a super long name for your band," Casey laughed along, rolling her eyes.
