A Lifetime of Love

Elena and I have been dating for 5 months now, and today is our 5 month anniversary. I've decided to take her to La Belle Nuit, a fancy French restaurant downtown. When I first got in my car to leave to pick her up, it smelled like old McDonald's; so I stopped at a CVS, bout a car freshener, and now it smells like fresh pine. A little bit down the street from the CVS is a flower shop run by my neighbor, Mrs. Pierce. She's a really nice old lady, and she gave me a free bouquet of pink lilies for Elena. Lilies are Elena's favorite flower and since tonight is a special night, everything has to be perfect.

I'm only 10 minutes away from Elena's house and the nerves are kicking in. I've never loved a girl so much in my entire life and I want everything to go right. I turn the corner onto Elena's street and as soon as I turn I see a car fly our of a back road off of Elena's street and it's coming right towards me. I can see Elena's house through the window and I don't know what to do. The car slams into the side of me and my car flies into the air and then lands upside down with smoke and fire everywhere.
