Scene 2: Peter is picking up Diane @ the office for lunch

It 12:15 in the afternoon, Peter went to Lockhart/Gardner & Associates again, but this time to pick up Diane for lunch. So, Peter asked the receptionist to direct him to Diane Lockhart's office and Peter is just waiting outside her door. The receptionist knocked on Diane's office to tell her her someone is looking for her. 

*knock-knock* 

Diane: Come in. 

The receptionist opened the door. She saw Diane getting ready to go somewhere. 

Receptionist: Ms. Lockhart? 

Diane: Not now. I'm going out for lunch. I need a little break time for myself too. 

Receptionist: Someone here is looking for you?

Diane: Who is it? (She said that while getting her bag ready) 

Receptionist: Peter Florrick, Ms. Lockhart. 

Diane: Tell him, to come in. 

The receptionist nodded and tell Peter to come in. The receptionist close the door. 

Diane: Hey Peter. 

Peter: Hi Diane. Are you ready to go out for lunch? 

Diane: Almost. I just need help putting on my jacket. 

Peter: Okay, I will help you. 

Diane: Thank you, Peter.

Diane's jacket was on the couch, so Peter got up and take Diane's jacket and he help her put it on. 

Peter: Here is your jacket, Diane. 

Diane was turned away from Peter. So, Peter grab one of the arms of her jacket and put it on her, then the other arm of the jacket. Once Diane wore her jacket, Peter touched her on her arm and hugged her from behind. Peter put her hair on the other side and kiss her on the neck and nibble on her ear. For few minutes, Peter is just kissing Diane's neck and ear. Then, Diane let go. 

Diane: Let's go. 

Peter: Okay. 

Diane just grabbed her bag. While they were leaving the room, Peter's hand was around Diane's waist and Diane didn't move away. In fact, she moved in closer to Peter. So, they both left the room and they closed the door. They are just talking, even they are getting on the elevator. 

Peter: Where do you want to eat, Diane? 

Diane: I don't know. What's new? 

Peter: Oh, I know this new restaurant that just came out and it's a really big hit these days. 

Diane: Okay. Let's go. 

Peter: Are you nervous? 

Diane: About what? 

Peter: Having a lunch date with me? 

Diane: A little. 

Peter: Don't worry, everything will be fine. 

Diane: Okay, if you say so. 

Peter: I know so. 

Diane: Okay. 

But just to make sure, Diane grabbed Peter's hands and she hold onto it. Peter was shocked when Diane grabbed his hand. So, while waiting for the elevator he hugged Diane to make her comfortable with the situation. 

So, the elevator came and they went in the elevator. Peter let Diane go in first then Peter went in the elevator, second. For few minutes, Peter did something that Diane will like. 

Once, they both got on the elevator and the elevator door closed. Peter kissed Diane on the cheeks for few seconds. Diane looked at him and she just smiled at him. It means, Diane liked it. Also, Diane kissed Peter on the cheeks for few seconds. They just hugged each other until they reach the parking lot. 

They are just holding hands. Until, they reach Peter's car. 

Peter: Are you okay with my car? Or you want me to use your car, instead? 

Diane: I'm fine with your car. 

Peter: Okay. 

So, Peter opened the door for Diane and close the door. Diane put on her seat belt and Diane waited for Peter to come in the car. Peter went in the car and turned on the engine. Before they drive away, Peter ask Diane something first... 

Peter: Diane, are you okay? 

Diane: (Diane glanced at him) Yes, I'm okay. Unless, I'm with you. I will be okay. 

Peter: Before we go, I just want to do something and I hope you are not going to get mad at me. Instead of getting mad at me, you will like it and enjoy this. 

Diane: Okay. 

Peter: Promise? 

Diane: I promise. Go. 

Peter: Okay. 

Peter moved in close to Diane and he touched her face and kiss her on the lips for few minutes. Peter unbutton her jacket and after they kissed they are just looking at each other's eyes and Peter move his hand inside Diane's legs and Diane just moaned for few seconds, then Diane moved away. 

Peter: Why did you move away? 

Diane: Peter, I thought we are going out for lunch? 

Peter: We are. 

Diane: We are just having sex wherever we stop. For example, my office, the elevator, then here. 

Peter: Okay. Let's go out for lunch. 

Diane: Okay. Let's go. 

So, Peter put the ignition to "drive" and they drive to the restaurant that Peter is talking about. While driving, Peter put his hands on Diane's legs moving up and down and that made Diane look and Diane touched his hands. 

Diane: Come on, Peter. (Diane smiled)

Peter: Okay. (Peter winked at Diane) 

Diane: Are we there yet? 

Peter: We are almost there. I made a reservation before I went to your office. 

Diane: Okay, great. 

Peter: We will be there in 10 minutes. 

Diane: Okay. 

Peter: Okay. 

Diane: Thank you. 

Peter: For what? 

Diane: For helping me get through this. 

Peter: That's nothing. I will do everything for you. 

Diane just smiled at him. Peter smiled back.
