BTW: The weather is Winter time -10 C. Diane is wearing a knitted skirt, a beautiful top and high heels.
It's 10 am at Lockhart/Gardner & Associates. Peter Florrick decided to look for a senior partner at the firm. Peter doesn't recall the name, but it says on the letterhead "Lockhart." So, he ask one of the receptionist to direct him to one of the senior partner with the last name "Lockhart." So, the receptionist direct him to one of the senior partner with the last name "Lockhart" and Peter is just waiting outside her door. The receptionist knock on Diane's office telling her that someone is looking for her.
* knock-knock*
Diane: Come in!
The receptionist opened the door. She saw Diane looking out the window
Receptionist: Ms. Lockhart, someone is here to look for you?
Diane: Who is it?
Receptionist: Peter Florrick.
Diane's eyes widen and turned around, once she heard his name. Diane saw Peter waiting outside her door.
Diane: Oh, okay. Tell him, to come in.
The receptionist nodded and tell Peter to come in. The receptionist close the door.
Diane: Hi Peter Florrick. I mean Mr. Governor.
They both shakes hand, when Peter touched Diane's hand, he was feeling her hand and made Diane looked at her hand and she let go.
Peter: (laughs) Hi Diane Lockhart.
Diane: Have a seat.
Peter: Thank you.
Peter sat down and Diane as well.
Diane: What can I do for you, Peter? (She grabs a pen and paper)
Peter: That's the thing, I have nothing to tell you
Diane: (She puts down her pen and she ask something to Peter) Is everything okay? Are you okay?
Peter: Yeah, everything is okay. I'm okay.
Diane: Okay. So,
Peter: I just wanted to see you.
Diane: Oh, why is that?
Peter: You didn't really change over the years, I have seen you on the magazine about your firm is rising and expanding.
Diane: Yeah, we are expanding a lot in different ways.
Peter: (Peter is just staring at Diane's face)
Diane: What?
Peter: Huh? Nothing.
Diane: Are you sure?
Peter: You still looks beautiful, elegant, and classy. That's what I like about you.
Diane: Thank you, Peter. How sweet of you.
Peter stood up and Diane stood up too. Peter walked towards close to Diane and he grabbed her hands and he said something to her...
Peter: (While Peter is holding Diane's hands) Diane, can I ask you something?
Diane: What is it, Peter? (Diane didn't let go off Peter's hands)
Peter: Can you go out with me for lunch?
Diane: Like a date? (She's not entirely sure about what's going on right now)
Peter: If you want to refer it to as a date, then we will call it a date then.
Diane: Uhmm? (Diane is not sure yet)
Peter: Please, Diane? (They are still holding hands, but in a few seconds Peter took one of Diane's hand and put it on his chest and the other hand Peter kissed it)
Diane: Okay. I will go on a lunch date with you.
Peter: Thank you.
Diane: Sure.
Peter pulled Diane and he hugged her tight, Diane didn't let go off Peter. Diane hugged him back. Peter's hand moved from the top of her shoulders to her waist and hips. Diane let go of the hug and she just smiled at Peter. Peter smiled back at her. Peter moved back a little bit to give Diane space.
Peter: What time is your lunch?
Diane looked at her watch.
Diane: Noon.
Peter: Great. I will pick you up around 12:30.
Diane: Okay.
Peter: Then, I should go. I will see you later.
Diane: Okay.
Peter: Bye, Diane.
Diane: Bye, Peter.
Peter and Diane said their goodbyes. Peter left Diane's office and when he was walking out there is just a smile on his face. Diane watched Peter left her room and Diane smiled and giggled a little bit.
