<< Mystras POV >>
I couldn't fall asleep at all. I was so worried about (Name). I hadn't seen her around that much. I just wished I knew if she was alright. What if something happened because she was standing too much and her wound reopened? NO NO NO! Since I had left I hadn't been able to stop thinking about her. I only recently decided I just needed to watch her to make sure she was alright. Yes, if I kept an eye on her, she wouldn't have to know I was there and she would be safe. It was a win-win situation. I decided I would protect her whether she wanted me around or not!
So, I went out and found her. Through her bedroom door I could see her sleeping. Seeing her in bed relieved me. Just seeing that she was staying in place put my nerves at ease. I let the door creak open as I walked into her room and sat on her bed, letting my fingers run through her hair. I had stayed a whole entire two days away from her... there was absolutely no way I could last any longer away from her, I needed to make up with her. How I wanted to wake her up right then to say that I was sorry, so that maybe she would spend more time with me. However, I decided it probably wasn't the best idea to wake her up. So, I silently stood up and left her. I just had to make up with her. I couldn't wait much longer for her.
It wasn't 'til a good while after the sun rose that I went to find her again. Hopefully she had slept well the rest of the night after I had left. I finally found her at the Sindria Trading Company. I almost forgot she had come hoping for work yesterday. Maybe she wasn't avoiding me much at all since she didn't mind being this close to me. So very close to me. I felt myself walking to her as I completely forgot that we had even fought in the first place. I just wanted to hold her really quickly. Unfortunately, the memory of our fight came back as she completely ignored my presence and walked past me.
Without even thinking I grabbed her wrist and tugged on her to follow along behind me. No matter how much she struggled or yelled at me I wasn't going to let go. Every time she did I would just tighten my grip on her. I pulled her into a room void of watchful eyes so that as I turned around my eyes were the only ones looking at her.
Before she could say a single word or complain about why I brought her there words were already coming out of my mouth. "I'm sorry, (Name)! I-I-I don't like being in fights with you! I-I'm s-s-sooo s-so-orry." Before I knew it I was a snotty sobbing mess.
"M-Mystras..." (Name) seemed surprised by my little outburst. Still, she grabbed me and pulled me down into a warm embrace. "Please don't cry. I just– It's not your fault. I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have gotten so upset with you."
There were no words to describe the feeling I had from being able to be hugged by her nor for the feeling of being able to hug her back and having her once again safe in my arms. The only clear thought in my mind was I would never ever let her go again.
