The moons that followed bugged honeykit, her mother seemed fine with the fact that her daughter was going to be a medicine cat.
Her brother stripekit was as abnoxious as ever he would brag about his position and he would point out how lame honeykit's position as future medicine cat was.
She agreed that being a medicine cat is lame.
New kits were born in the nursery her mother nightpelt had two more kits about a half moon ago. A black she-cat with golden eyes called, moonkit, and a tortioshell she cat with green eyes called, tawnykit.
Honeykit waddled into the clearing of the calling-ledge.
The leader mallowstar was discussing treeclan with her deputy, redfur.
The leader suddenly said somthing to the deputy and the ginger she-ca nodded and walked to the apprentice den to retrieve the apprentices.
Mallowstar lept onto the calling-ledge and loudly yowled."all the cats from my clan come gather beneath the calling ledge!"
Stripekit waddled into the clearing along with cinderkit and the other kits.
Fallowkit sat beside her brother maplekit. spiralkit sat beside stripekit.
"as all of you know our apprentices have been training for moons already and i now believe that they are ready for their full warrior names."
The three apprentices squirmed in joy.
"viperpaw, marshpaw, featherpaw; do you promise to uphold the ways of our clan that has been taught to us by our previous leaders and deputies and warriors?"
"i do,"the pale ginger featherpaw meowed breathlessly.
"i do,"viperpaw meowed keepin his voice steady.
"i do,"Marshpaw meowed with simple joy.
"then by our ansestors and our ansestors' ansestors i give you your full names, marshpaw you are now marshleaf; We honor your swiftness and quick thinking.
"Featherpaw you are now featherpool, we honor you strength as a young cat and your thoughtfulness."
"viperpaw you are the new deputy and you shall replace the older deputy redfur. Viperpaw your new name is viperstrike, we honor your strength amd we hope to have you serve many moons as our deputy."
"VIPERSTRIKE! FEATHERPOOL! MARSHLEAF! VIPERSTRIKE! FEATHERPOOL! MARSHLEAF!"the cats corused.
"now that is over we have some new apprentices to name."Mallowstar spoke.
"stripekit, cinderkit, honeykit, fallowkit, and maplekit please come up."
"stripekit has been chosen as the next leader after me,"Mallowstar spoke."but he must go through his warrior training and leader training first, stripekit from now on until you earn you leader name your name is stripepaw you will learn the traditions of a leader and the ways of a warrior."
"cinderpaw starclan has chosen you for a life as a queen but for as a young cat you shall learn defensive moves and how to care for kits, fishleaf will be your mentor amd until yu have earned your queen name you will be known as cinderpaw."
"honeykit you were chosen as a medicine cat."mallowstar meowed.
Honeykit groaned softly not letting anyone hear her.
"honeypaw your mentor will be the lovely mistyheart you will learn to be a medicine cat and care for the lives of all.
"maplekit you were chosen as a warrior your mentor will be thistlefur, you are now maplepaw."
"fallowkit you have also been chosen as a warrior,"
Mallowstar meowed."and you will be known as fallowpaw until you earn yur new name as a warrior, your mentor will be Rubygleam."
"FALLOWPAW! MAPLEPAW! STRIPEPAW! HONEYPAW! CINDERPAW!"the clan shouted beaming.
Honeypaw wandered to the fresh-kill pile snatching a little chikadee bird to eat. "this is going to stink,"

"starclan chose for you and they are always right,"mistyheart meowed."now get some rest."
Honeypaw stalked away out of camp,"starclan this, starclan that,"honeypaw hissed."i just want to choose myself!"
She walked through the forest further and further till she noticed it was dusk.
"i should go home,"she thought taking one more step.
She then was wrapped into a trap.
She was just caught on treeclan territory.
