My Top Ten Yu Yu Hakusho Characters

#10- Genkai

Starting off this list is everyone's favorite physic old lady, Genkai.

Now to be very honest, there are quite a few moments where I found Genkai to be a bit... stale.

Don't get me wrong, there are tons of awesome moments that she has throughout the series and her sense of humor is actually quite funny.

But it's just something about her in the Dark Tournament Saga which kinda turns me off about her...

I don't really know if it's how I don't like how she and the Younger Togoro were once friends and shit, or if it's just that I plain old didn't find her to be all that cool, especially towards the end where she fights Shishi and Suzuka. I just can't bear myself to see her in quite the same way as she was in the previous arc.

And also, her death was literally the most drawn-out thing in all anime history. I don't know why the hell they were all so shocked and upset when Togoro killed her, a blind roach could have seen that coming from a mile away!

But even still, sometimes you take the good with the bad, and seeing how Genkai has more positive things about her than negative, I think she deserves a spot on this list.
