My Top Ten Yu Yu Hakusho Characters

It is very, very rare that I jump on the bandwagon and agree with popular opinion.

This will literally be the only time I ever do...probably...

Hiei is my favorite for a great many reasons, one of which is because he's a Vegeta clone who is actually more likable than Vegeta by a great margin.

Yes, the character you made as an imitation is actually a better character than the character you based him off of!

It's a good thing this is Wattpad and not YouTube, otherwise that previous statement would get me burned at the steak.

So let's look at Hiei as a whole for a second and see how many check marks he gets for being a great character.

1. Great personality which balances ego with humbleness. ✅

2. Epic backstory. ✅

3. Actual character development. ✅

4. Being a total badass. ✅

5. Is an albino detective with an iq equivalent to the number of digits in pi. ❎

6. Is a Tenuki or Fox. ❎

7. Has a badass attack/ and or transformation. ✅

Ok, so now you see why Hiei hits so many nails right on the head for me.

Maybe this'll clarify why so many people like Hiei so much to someone who just doesn't get it for some reason.

However! I do have one negative thing to say about Hiei! Which I believe is a first for my #1 spots in a favorite characters list.

What the actual fuck Hiei? Why didn't you just fucking tell Ukina that you're her brother! Do you know how satisfying the conclusion to the series would be if they had some sort of tear-felt reunion? That shit ending to the Three Kings Saga may have actually been forgivable if they did that instead of Hiei working the border patrol!

But in all seriousness Togashi, you could easily bring back Yu Yu Hakusho for a whole other series.

No one is going to object to it! I know I won't!

If Toriyama can get away with that pile of shit Super, than by God, Togashi, you should be able to put your prized series back into the limelight as well! (Just please don't make the same mistakes Toriyama did...)

In fact, I for one don't just want a new Yu Yu Hakusho series, I fucking need it to know whatever happens to Hiei and Ukina! Make it happen Japan!
