I followed Liam and Emma through the wooden door.We entered a small kitchen, which had four large windows that hung above the table. The tile was the generic black and white checkered pattern. As my eyes adjusted to the lighting, I looked over at Emma who was running outside and screaming about something. Which made me notice a little boy in the corner who was clutching a Buzz Lightyear action figure. The little boy was flying his toy around until my gaze fell upon Liam he was talking to a young girl next to the oven. I admired the girl carefully. She reminded of a younger version of Quinn. Except for the fact that she had wavy brown hair with dirty blonde highlights that reached just below her chest and had dark brown eyes.  I don't know besides looks, but something about her just screamed Quinn.

“Julia, this is Olivia,” Liam said as his hand was on Olivia’s shoulders.

“Hi,” I nodded at her.

“Hi,” she said shyly. She turned away from our gaze and moved her body to the oven.

I laughed softly at her shyness. “Where’s everyone?” Liam asked Olivia.

“The boys went into the woods. I don’t know if they’re still there. I think Kendall and Brittanyy are with Hayden. I saw him with them earlier,” Olivia said quietly as she stirred the pot on the stove.

Liam gave her a half smile then motioned me to follow him. We made our way through the kitchen and headed to the screened door. Liam opened the door for me to go out until I spotted the gaze from a little boy.  The little boy was standing there with an old Buzz Lightyear in hand, his face full with fear. His large brown eyes wide opened. He had short brown hair with red lips and pink cheeks. His skin was white pale and as he looked into my eyes with fear. “This is Jesse,” Liam said noticing me staring at the boy in the corner. He slowly went on to his knees then spoke to the boy, “Hi buddy.”

“Hi,” Jesse said quietly. Jesse gave him a small smile before looking at me. His smile was gone and his dark brown eyes gave me a glare, nothing like I’ve ever seen before. Deciding that he was done looking at me in disgust, he sat down and started playing with his Buzz Lightyear.  Liam rolled his eyes then stood up once again and held the door open for me. We walked out of the house in silence. We walked on the patio and stood near the railing. We stared in awe at the surroundings. The sun was setting as it slowly drowned within the horizon, sending its rays of light that shone over of the darkness of the surrounding clouds and you could see as the moon peeked out, waiting for its turn to possess the sky. The sky began to dance in beautiful forms of pink and orange.

“Such a beautiful view in such a bad place,” Liam grinned. I grinned and kept looking at the sunset.

“I’m sorry about Jesse, he’s been through alot,” Liam sighed as he ran his hand through his hair then continued, “ We all have, so don’t be surprised if the others act like that.”

We stood there in silence until Liam spoke again. “Dinner will be ready in a few. I’m going to go find the boys,” Liam said as he patted my back. I nodded.

Where am I?  I wish I could go home.

I ignored my thoughts and began to watch Liam walk into the forest inside of the gated area, step by step. When I lost sight of Liam, memories flooded my mind for a few moments until I heard someone walk in the patio, I jerked my head swiftly to stare at the figure. He looked familiar...
