After spending a good hour with the princess, she showed me around and introduced me to all the royals and higher nobles we even went and spent a good half hour playing cards where I won a good couple of rounds. After laughing and joking with the princess she showed me to my room which was opposite to hers. She left me to freshen up and told me she would collect me for dinner I smiled and as soon as the door was shut, I sighed and faced the balcony.

There he stood leaning against the door looking out to the stars, a look of boredom on his face but I could see in his eyes there was frustration and wonder, he glanced at me, and an emotion flashed in his eyes but was gone before I could pin point it and just like that he was gone. I ran to the balcony but he was no where to be seen, blending into the darkness.

A knock on the door had me jumping and I quickly went to open it a servant was standing there holding a black box with a red ribbon tied around it. I took the box and said thanks. I put the box on the bed an envelope was attached, I quickly opened it.

My dearest Princess,

if you going to keep this act up, then you should at least dress the part.

Yours Faithful

Master.

I quickly opened the box's up and there was the most lavishing dress I had ever seen, it was a long black gown with red pattens swirling all around the dress, its was a dress for a dark beauty and to make a statement, and I was defiantly going a make a statement  tonight.

A hour later and I was dressed and ready, My tummy rumbled and I realised I hadn't eaten anything since this morning. I sigh I just needed to get through tonight and see if i can get back, I couldn't give up. I just needed to play the game.

A knock on door echoed in my room and hurriedly went to answer it. The princess stood there with two men flanking her, they were dressed in black uniform a white tree as their crest.

"Wow you look stunning!"

I smiled and we headed out the door, I did look killer with my dark make up and red lips and my hair tied in a high pony tail to show of my features I had to admit I did a good job. The princess linked arms with me and we headed to grand hall to meet her uncle the king and a tight knot squeezed my stomach.

The princess was dressed in a light blue dress with little flowers dotted around her dress, she looked like summer and I felt like a storm waiting to happen.  As we got closer I could hear an orchestra playing but this orchestra didn't play classical music but more dark, haunting music. I chill went down my spine as the big golden doors opened and we entered the grand hall.  As expected the King was sat on a obsidian glass thrown his dark eyes fell on us as we entered. The king was a big man, his furs made he look huge and strong, a golden crown adorned his head and he curly blonde hair was long and brutish with a thin beard around his face, although the king was hansom I knew the malices and evil that hide behind that facade. We came to stand in front of the king I bowed and so did the princess.

"Niece I see you have made a new friend, who is it that I'm in the present off?"

the princess looked and smiled at her uncle she stepped aside and I moved forward and bowed again.

"Your Highness, I'm Princess Aria from the Adrirani we are a small kingdom, it's not very  known and I begged my father to let me explore the new world."

Oh I was good at playing pretend and I knew one look at the king he believed me or didn't care if I was lying, my eyes drifted to the Prince he was stood in the shadows near one of the pillers a small smirk fell on his face but was vanished before I could even blink. The king waved his hand in dismiss and we moved aside an headed to one of the tables furthest from the king.
