JENNIFER'S P.O.V

The only thought running through my mind was that I needed to find a way to escape. I couldn't stay and become a victim of their plan.

I had woken up an hour and had fooled the maids into thinking I was still knocked out. Either I  was a great actress or they weren't actually checking me thoroughly. Good thing though.

Now my escape plan begins. To be able to get away and never be found I was going to need money to get me started. Thankfully I had quiet a but of money saved up. I peered out the door and no one was there. I quickly and hopefully quietly went into my room. I got the cash I had and put it in a purse then I grabbed my phone and wallet. After thinking for a second I decided against taking my phone, I've seen a lot of movies and shows about this sort of thing. People are always caught because of phone calls.

I went into my closet and started looking through my clothes to decide what to take. No. I couldn't take clothes either. Carrying a huge duffel bag full of clothes and shoes wasn't exactly subtle or inconspicuous.

I went through my drama club items and picked out a straight blonde wig , blue colored contacts, and large sunglasses. I silently walked out if my room and tiptoed to the maids headquarters. Making sure first no one was inside I took a small peek. I then grabbed one of the maids uniforms, locked the door and changed.

This dress was short too, what's with these people and short dresses? Then I remembered it belonged to the maid I fired.

I might sound mean but I fired her for trying to freaking seduce my father. And it was right in front of me! My pride made me want to take it off but escaping was my top priority not pride. Finally the little wench would be useful considering she couldn't do her job. Only reason she was hired was because she looked good in a tiny dress.

When I looked in the mirror I looked like a complete different person. But if you were looking closely at me you would see I wasn't a simple maid but the one and only, Jennifer Roselli.

What if they recognize me? What if they don't let me leave? What ifs were going through my mind. There was a great chance they would know its me. But I had hope and besides I would for sure be forced to marry if I stayed. I went back to my room and grabbed my purse then I quickly and quietly walked straight to the front door.

I heard voices and remembered I had to pass by the diner to get to the main doors. I could've easily walked out through the staff exit but I never had bothered to check where those doors were. I doubt that would go well though. The maids are not loyal to me, they would instantly know I was not one of them and would run to tell father. I had to take the risk of going through the main door.

Quickening my pace and putting the most normal and relaxed face I could manage, I walked by the diner without looking at them.

"Excuse me, I need to talk to you about something", I heard Sandra call me.

I stiffened but still turned around slowly. Barbie doll got up and walked up to her room.

"Follow me", she ordered in a gentle mom's voice. In my mind I was debating whether to just leave or follow her. Choosing the latter we both went up to her room.

Thankfully the men were deep in their conversation and didn't even glance at us. I could try to overpower her. Maybe knock her out and get away before she woke up and alerted them. I'd have less time to get to an airport but it was better than nothing.

We walked in her room and she went to a drawer that had a false bottom, which she had opened. How many times had she been here? How had I barely met her today? Seems serious between them if she has her own drawer.

I was too far away to see what was in it though. "Miss. Do you need something?" I said getting in character while I noticed she grabbed a bag.

"Jenny do you think I'm stupid? Drop the act I know it's you." she said while putting some objects in the bag and filling it up.

"Okay if you know it's me why didn't you tell my father or Mr. Daxus?", confused I asked, while hoping she wouldn't go and tell them there and then. If she had wanted to do so however, she could have done so downstairs.

"Listen Jenny I'm not as bad as you make me out to be. I don't agree with this marriage. In my opinion you should be able to find true love. I also think that a beautiful, innocent girl like you shouldn't be forced to marry a mafia don. At first I hoped that you and him could connect and perhaps work something out. But it seems like that's not gonna happen and I don't want anything to happen to you", she said while handing me the now full bag.

"What's this?", I asked holding the bag with both hands realizing how heavy it was "Honey, I wouldn't be helping you, if I didn't provide you with things you need", she said and then opening the bag to let me see inside. There in front of me was a great amount of hundred dollar bills.

I know I'm extremely rich, or rather my dad is very rich but I had never seen this amount of money all together.

"Your father always gives me money but I don't really spend it", she told me being completely honest. Before I could thank her she pulled me downstairs again and to the front door.

She then winked at me in secrecy. Suddenly she grabbed an expensive looking vase and dropped it on the floor making it shatter.

"Are you fucking kidding me? You better find one exactly like that and pay forit yourself or you're fired!", she screamed at me with great authority.

"Yes Miss. I didn't mean to break it sorry Miss", I answered trying to sound scared and intimidated. I didn't exactly have to fake it, I was terrified.

What if they found me? Or what if they did something to Sandra for helping me? I decided to stop thinking about that and focused on my escape.
