CHAPTER 7 : Oh no! (I like you!)

I walked back to my villa after that tensed meeting. I didn't expect that to happen. I was kinda worried about Indio. What if he finds out? Oh nothing to worry. With what happened between me and Robert? It was just a one time thing ... oh not.. twice! Not even a one night stand! I tried to get some sleep with those thoughts clouding my head.

The next morning, my band mates decided to do our rehearsals at the bar. We woke up at around 8am and ate our breakfast then by 10 o'clock, we headed to the bar. I then bumped into a familiar figure. It was Indio.

Sigh. Here we go again!

"Hey! Good morning, gorgeous!" – Indio saying and giving me a wink after.

"Hi,'mornin'!" - I smiled after.

I headed to the bar with my guitars on my right shoulder. I was surprised when Indio took it from me and carried it for me to the bar.

"Come on, let me help you!"

I just smiled at Indio and headed towards the bar. Introduced him to my band mates and he asked if he can stay and watch. We all agreed and decided to keep Indio's company. After all, he is a musician too! And looks like the boys are getting pretty well too!

It was about 1 pm when we finished and decided to eat lunch. Indio waved goodbye and told me he will meet his family for lunch. We headed towards the dining hall and ate our lunch. We are on our 30th minute eating at the table when at the corner of my eyes I see Indio, waving at us at the entrance door. I face him and waved as well while smiling and from his back there appeared Robert, giving us a confused look. I saw him tap Indio's shoulders slightly and whispered something to his ears, Indio then smiled and pointed to our direction!

God! This is awkward!

"Hi Kristine! I want you to meet my dad!" – Indio introducing his famous dad, Robert Downey Jr. to us. My band mates' jaws dropped in awe!

"Of course! We know who you are! Nice meeting you, Mr. Downey! " –God! This is really, really awkward!

"Just Robert! A pleasure to meet a gorgeous lady. Congratulations to you and your band! You did great last night! " – Robert while shaking my hands and slightly squeezing it and emphasizing the last sentence which is kinda double meaning but I opted to ignore it.

I just smiled and focused on Indio who is now talking with the boys. Eventually, they joined us for lunch and all that Robert do is to stare at me. I caught him several times and the last time was him giving me a wink.

We chatted for an hour and I decided to head to my room first. I feel so tired. I excused myself from the table and Indio went along with me. He said he will walk me to my room. I smiled at them but Robert's face became serious suddenly.

We were walking to the alley going to my villa when suddenly Indio held my hand. I flinched a little but then I relaxed when he intertwined our fingers. I swear I saw him smile from the corner of my eye. I broke off when I approached my room and tried to unlock the door. Before I get in, Indio held my hand again.

"Hey... I know this may sound weird but I like you. I know it's been like 2 days and I wanted to know you more." – Indio holding my hand and staring me in the eyes. Gosh! Light brown eyes with a perfect cute nose. Handsome and tall man. Who would not fall for this perfect man?

"We'll see about that.." – I just smiled and kissed him in the cheeks.

"I'll see you tonight!" – his smile is stretched from ear to ear!

Then I closed the door. I leaned against the door for a while trying to absorb everything that happened. It was nice that Indio like me but I don't feel something special... yet. Gosh!

After about 5 minutes, I heard a knock at my door, I was excited and thought Indio came back. I opened the door right away and a smile is plastered on my face but to my amusement, it was Robert!
