"Hey" My friend Calum said as he walked up to me.

"Hey." I said.

"So what we gonna do after school today?" Calum asked me.

"I don't really know. We could get ice cream." I suggested. Ice cream is my heaven. Ice cream is my sanity. Ice cream is my life.

"Okay. Cool." He said.

"Bye" I said as we split for our classes.

I went into the boys locker room. Everyone stared at me as I passed by. They all know me.

I don't know why they still stare at me. They should be jealous of my nicely shaved legs and pink skirt. I went to my locker to get my clothes and put my bag away.

I changed into my boyish gym clothes and walked out. I made sure to keep my flower crown bobby pinned to my hair. I sat down in my roll call line.

"Luke Hemmings?" Coach Jackson called out.

"Coach. It's Lucy. Like I tell you every week. Lu-cy." I said annoyedly.

"As long as you're Luke on my roster, you're Luke to me." The coach said. I rolled my eyes.

"Okay! Today we're splitting the class up! Boys stay with me! Girls go with Coach Avery and her girls." The coach boomed.

The girls peeled away from the class. I snuck away with them, like I always do. Coach Avery likes me. She calls me Lucy.

I walked away and caught up with my friend Karly in Coach Avery's class. "Hey girl." I said.

"Oh hey Lu!" She squealed.

"So what are we doing?" I asked her.

"Softball" she said.

"Yes" I said.

Karly and I dominate at softball. Karly handed me a glove. I slipped it onto my hand and went into the outfield. There's a certain spot the girls always hit to.

I go there. Karly and I work as a team. I catch the ball, throw it to Karly, Karly throws it to first base, the girl is out.

Simple.

I stood in my position, ready to catch. Karly and I dominated, once again. All the girls on our team crowded around us shouting "MVP! MVP!".

More so me, Karly is only good at throwing and catching. I can do everything. At the end of class, as Karly and I were walking towards the locker rooms, Coach Avery pulled me aside.

"Hey coach!" I smiled.

"Lucy, how would you Kiel to join the baseball team?" She asked me. I beamed. Wait, baseball is for guys. She knew.

"Sure! But how did you know I was a guy?" I squealed

"Easy, you seemed very flat chested for a girl, and you have a deep voice for a girl. Come get the form from me after class." Coach Avery said.

I nodded and she walked away.

"So your gonna be on the ball team?" Cal asked me. We were sitting at the ice cream shop after school.

"Yeah. Coach Avery asks me I I wanted to and gave me the papers." I explained. I licked my strawberry ice cream cone.
