Chapter 3

"You awake?" I asked Tokemi.

"Yeah. Why?" He asked sitting up.

"Did you get a good look at that person that shot you?" I asked standing up and walking over to Tokemi and sitting on his bed.

"No sorry. I think they used illusion magic cause all I could see was the floating gun," he said .

"Illusion magic. That's rare. Are you sure it wasn't marionette magic?" I asked getting up to get more bandage. I unwrapped my wound and saw the gross bloody wound bulging out of my skin. "Yeesh. That's ugly.'' I wrapped it up before I threw up. I walked over to Tokemi and unwrapped his wound. His was more healed than mine because Paris destroyed his bullet. I wrapped it up then went to bed.

In the morning......

"Adi? Adi?" Someone said shaking me awake.

''Nngh, whaddya want," I mumbled hitting away and opening my eyes.

"I don't want anything I need you to go to school," Tokemi said.

"Fine, " I said. I got out of bed and grabbed my uniform from under the bed. I limped out of the M.R.(Medical Room) and into the girls bathroom. I got out if my pajamas and into my uniform.

As I was buttoning up my jacket I saw a face in the mirror.

"Aargh!" I screamed. I looked closely at the face and saw it was Winter.

"Hello Adi," She said and smiled.

"Hi Winter," I finished buttoning up my jacket and started brushing my hair.

"How's your leg?" She asked coming over to me.

"Umm..... how did you know about my leg?"

"Reasons,'' she said and left the room.

I walked out of the bathroom and ran into Kirè. We talked for a while I asked him to go to Lakeside a very fancy restaurant where you only get to go if your invited by letter invitation. Kirè said yes.
