Chapter 4

"Knock knock, " someone was at the door.

"Coming!" I called. I quickly straightened the bow on my golden dress that reached my knees. I looked in the mirror at my French braided hair. I quickly slipped on my sparkly golden high heels and checked my make-up in the mirror.

I ran down the stairs and came up to the door. I looked around the room for Tokemi and Paris. Paris was sitting on the couch with her long ,sparkly, purple dress and her hair up in a bun. She was trying to put on her other black high heels. Tokemi was checking the oven and microwave with his black suit and hair combed. I opened the door and there was Kirè. He was wearing a light grey suit and his hair was combed just like Tokemi's.

"Hi," I said, "come Tokemi and Paris it's time to go,"

"Uhhh...you look nice Adi," Kirè complimented and blushed.

"Thanks," I said and smiled.

"Kin Kin," KinKai roared.

"Sorry KinKai, you can't come with. You do have Ketta, now," I said. Ketta was the baby Pegasus I summoned.

"Where are we going?" Kirè asked.

"Lake Side," Tokemi answered as we went into the hallway and started to walk.

"Holy crap, really?" Kirè asked.

Lake Side is the fanciest restaurant in our territory. You have to be invited to go there.

"Yep. We were invited a week ago," Paris said locking the door really quickly

After we winded through the academy we came to the front doors made of glass. We stepped out and into the fresh air. The sun was setting abd the wind started to kick up. I gazed into the moonlit sky and kept walking.

"We can take the M. Rail there," Tokemi explained while walking up concrete stairs

"Okay,'' I said almost tripping on the stairs. I quickly righted myself up and walked up the stairs trailed by Kirè ans Paris.

When we got to the M. Rail station, we saw Tara, Zaki, Witer and Lake waiting for the M. Rail too. They were all dressed up just like us. Tara was wearing a red dress with ruffles at the bottom, her hair was all curled with sparkles in it, and she had white flats on. Winter was wearing a white dress that went down to her ankles, her hair was clipped to her right side, and she had black heels on. Lake was wearing a white suit with a black under shirt and his messy hair stayed the same. Zaki was wearing a dark blue suit with a light grey under shirt his hair was slicked back away from his eyes.

"Hi, Tokemi," Tara called.

"Hello Kirè,"Winter said creepily.

"Hello Adi, " Lake said annoyed as Zaki bowed towards Paris.

"Hello Tara," Tokemi smiled.

"Hi Winter," Kirè greeted.

"Hi Lake," I grumbled.

"Hello, Zaki," Paris said.

"Were you invited to Lake Side, too?" Tara asked.

"Yep," Tokemi a.see red as the M. Rail pulled into the station.

Tara and Zaki took one car. Winter and Lake took the next car. Paris and Tokemi took the next car, and me and Kirè took the last car.

"How's your leg?" Kirè asked while looking out the window.

"Good. Its numb right now," I explained as I leaned my ear on the wall behind us. I could hear the muffled voices of Tokemi and Paris.

"I'm excited Bro," Paris exclaimed.

"Yeah me, too. I still can't believe we got the invitation to go," Tokemi said.

"Yeah I can't wait....." Paris started to say.

"Adi? You okay," Kirè interrupted.

"Huh? Oh, yeah I'm fine," I said.

After 10 minutes the M. Rail came to a stop. We all got off and it left.

"So... you wanna walk with us?" Tokemi asked. I stepped on his foot in anger.

"Yeah su....." Tara started to say but her dress was tugged on by Zaki. "No thanks. We have to stop somewhere first," she explained.

"Okay. Bye." I said rudely waving them off as I went down the stairs.

"Bye," the twins said in unison.

"See ya," Kirè said following me and following him was Tokemi.

"Bye Zaki," Paris said hoping down the stairs as Zaki bowed.

15 minutes later.....

We all walked through the front door to Lake Side. Inside was a glimmering chandelier and dozens of beautiful tables lined with candles. Many waiters and waitresses passed them carrying all kinds of different food. When they looked up they saw a balcony with 2 tables on it.

"May I see your letter?" One of the waiters asked. He had dark grey hair and sky blue eyes. Tokemi handed him the letter then the waiter gave it back," please follow me," he said walking up a staircase," I am Jax, I will be your waiter tonight,''

"Hello Jax, I am Tokemi the one in the gold is Adi, " I waved," the one in the purple is Paris and the other boy is Kirè," Paris and Kirè waved.

As we came up on the last step Jax said" go to the left and you'll find your table. I will be back in a minute with menus," then Jax left.

We all went to the left and found our table. We all looked down at the magnificent restaurant in awe.

"So you guys are on the balcony too?" Someone asked flatly behind us.

"Yep," I answered and turned to see who it was. I stared in shock.

"That's great," Winter said curling her hair on her finger and linking arms with Lake who still didn't look happy. Tara and Zaki were still walking up the stairs.

"Oh great they're here," I grumbled.
