Trish's POV

*1 week later*

They all have been avoiding me except Grayson, ofc cause he's my boyfriend but yeah. Ever since Melina came things have just been getting worse and i fucking hate it. Right now I was walking out of school when I bumped into Melina. "Hey I was actually looking for you!" She smiled. I rolled my eyes and walked past her. "Hey wait!" She yelled out catching up to me. "What! What else do you want from me! You took the only people i have away from me! What else do you want!" I yelled. "Ok look I'm not taking your friends and I'm sorry if you feel that way" she said shoving her hands in her pockets. "Whatever" i scoffed walking to my house. I saw Grayson sitting on my steps. He stood up and blocked me from walking in. "Tomorrow is your birthday right?" He asked. "Yeah why" i questioned. "Just come" he said reaching his hand out. I smiled then intertwined our fingers as we walked off. We just walked in quiet up a hill. As we reached the top, the sun was starting to set. The view was just breath taking. It was of the beach. But it's not just ANY beach that you see people laying out tanning or playing volleyball. This was a deserted beach, no one ever really came here so it was peaceful. The sunset just topped it off. "Grayson this is beautiful" i said looking at the breath taking view. "It reminds me of you" he said smiling really big. "Your cute when you do things like this" I said facing him. We spent hours and hours just sitting there watching the sun set. "Happy birthday" he whispered in my ear. I checked my phone and realized it was 12 am. "Thanks babe" i smiled. I turned towards him and he leaned in. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion. I wrapped my arms around his neck. Then we kissed. i know it just sounds so plain and simple but he has me feeling some type of way. With him there's no issues or drama with other girls. its just simple. I pulled away and smiled. "I got you a present" he chuckled. "No come on i hate when people give me presents" i said laying down on the grass. "Too bad" he said. He stood up and took out a black leather box. I stood up just as he opened it. It revealed a silver charm bracelet with a couple charms on it. "It took me a while to pick out each charm" he said tossing it around. "Ok so the soccer ball is because your freakin amazing at soccer like complete pro. The red heart is because your always managing to take care of others when your not okay yourself. The arm muscle/strength is because through all of the things you've been through you made it out smiling. Lastly, the microphone is because i know you can sing but your too shy" he said. I wiped away my tears. "Ugh you hate it don't you" he said looking down. "No no! i love it. its- its just that no one has ever taken time and put thought into a gift like this" i said wiping my tears. i picked up his head and pecked his lips. He smiled and then clipped it around my wrist. "Its perfect" i smiled. He pecked my lips then intertwined our fingers. "Come on lets go back to your house now" he said. "Hey i've been meaning to ask you how is your mom doing?" Grayson asked. "uhm she's on a business trip in New York. You know how it is being a lawyer" i lied. We walked off then ended up arriving at my house. I put the key in and turned the lock. I flipped the light on then i saw a large banner hanging that said "Happy Birthday!". Just then Myles, Bri, Kalin, Melina, Madi, and Cam all popped out saying "Surprise!". "oh my god thank you guys" i said covering my mouth. I hugged all of them then we all spread out on the couches eating pizza. "WAIT! Is this why you guys were ignoring me for like 2 fucking weeks!?" i raised my voice. "Yeah" they chuckled. "Assholes" i laughed. "Alright come on people its present motherfucking time!" Bri yelled. "Damn bae calm down" Kalin said kissing her cheek. "Alright first present is from pinhead aka Kalin" i chuckled. I ripped open the wrapping revealing the jordan logo on a box. "Okay if these are the jordan retro 8 bug's bunny that I've been dying for I'm gonna die" i said. Just as i opened up the box it was exactly what i was hoping for. Jordan retro 8 bug's bunny. I literally screamed then smiled. "Alright i won't call you pinhead for a week" i chuckled. "Yes!!" he exclaimed and everyone laughed. "alright MY TURN BIOTCHESS!" Bri screamed. She handed me a small brown box. i opened it revealing a gold necklace with a gold studded heart attached to it. "Oh my god Bri" i said holding back my tears. When her parents used to be alive, her dad gave her mom that necklace. But when they died Bri got her mom's necklace and now she made a replica for me. "Its beautiful" i said hugging her. Madi handed me a bag and inside was a bag of potato chips. "Really mad potato chips?" Cam said laughing. "Hey! they are special" Madi said. "Yep i still remember. We fought over them in 6th grade and thats how we met" i chuckled. "Im next people!" Cam said handing me a heavy square box figure. I tore off the wrapper and it revealed a nikon d3300 with 3 different lenses and the cleaning supplies with it. "oh god I'm gonna be young fairfax now" i said laughing. "Yass!" cam said. "My turn!" Melina said and i smiled. She handed me a small rectangular box. I opened it revealing $100, a phone case that had like the water and the glitter and stars in it, a red north face backpack , and a polaroid with 3 packs of film. "Damn thats a lot! thanks" i smiled hugging her. "No problem" she chuckled. "And last but not least" Myles said handing me a wide box. I opened it revealing an orange "Fruit snacks" sweater and new green beats mixrs and black beats studio. Then he handed me another box but heavier. I opened it revealing a mac book pro. "Thank you thank you thank you" i repeadtly said hugging him. "I know you wanna become a dj or a singer so heres to start you off" he chuckled. "Thank you guys but now i need help bringing these up" i said. "Here ill help" Melina said. We both grabbed anything we could and brought it up to my room. "Hey look obviously now you know that i wasn't trying to steal you from your friends, this was the plan basically. Myles called me and told me how he had this whole plan for your birthday" she explained. "Myles planned all of this?" i said smiling. "Yeah he really cares about you" she said. "You like him don't you" she said. "uhm i don't know. Im dating Grayson and you obviously like him so i don't know" i said. She stood there for a second then started bursting out laughing. "What" i said then started laughing. "Myles and i are cousins" she said. "Oh wow" i said mentally face palming myself. "Myles and I used to be a thing but i don't know. He cheated on me and i couldn't handle it. Don't get me wrong i still have feelings for him but I'm dating Grayson who is such an amazing person but.. if i had to see myself 10 years from now, married, and have kids.. i see myself with Myles, honestly. Is it wrong to say i like them both?" i said looking at her. "Well you don't like them both. You like grayson but you love myles. Sure maybe your heart wants Grayson as of now but i know your gonna go back to myles soon and theres nothing wrong with that!" she said sitting next to me. "So what do i do?" i asked her. "Just go with the flow" she chuckled. "Don't think too much of it until your heart is fully committed to one person" she added. "Thanks" i said hugging her. "Now lets go turn up!" i said grabbing her hand, pulling her out of the room. We walked downstairs and i set up the surround sound in my house. I connected my phone and started playing TLC by Sy Ari Da Kid. Hey so I'm 17 so why not turn up a bit. I walked into my kitchen and found a bottle of tequila, vodka, and whiskey. I set the vodka and whiskey on the table and had the tequila in my hand. I took a big chug out of the bottle but my facial expression was like a baby eating a lemon but 10 times worse. I could already feel the buzz.. damn this stuff is strong. I walked back out to everyone and basically just passed the bottle around. After i got the bottle back i took another chug then put it down. By now Blue Hunnids was playing by P-lo. I bit my lip and grabbed Grayson's hand. I put his hands on my hips then i started twerking and yiking on him. "GET IT GRAYSON!" Kalin yelled. He laughed then the song ended. I sat down next to Myles taking another chug of the tequila. "Wanna dance?" i asked him. "Shouldn't i be asking you that?" he said then started laughing. "Whatever but do you wanna dance?" i asked him again. "sure" he chuckled. Yiken by Priceless da roc started playing and Myles smirked. I chuckled just as his warm hands were place on my waist. Bri and Kalin were next to us, Cam and Madi were sucking each others faces off on the couch, and Melina and Grayson were talking and laughing. Just as the music started, my hips moved with the beat. Kalin and Bri were on a whole other different level going crazy. We kept dancing and singing along. "Im tiredd" i slurred then yawned. "Alright come on" Grayson said laughing. He carried me bridal style up to my room.
