Lunar Republic RP

Introduction

While the mane six pranced blissfully in their world of light, the night rose steadily. The Lunar Republic has been growing in the back in Princess Luna's mind ever since her banishment. She assumed that they were effects of Nightmare Moon and were therefore flawed. Over time though as she watched her sister trip and stumble repeatedly, thrusting her entire kingdom's fate into the hooves of a unicorn that had no training for such responsibility, her mind became set. No more would her subjects be under the reckless rule of Princess Celestia.

Zecora was the first to learn of these mental debates of the Princess as Luna often came for her in need of advice or how to adjust to this more modern world. Zecora believed in Twilight but still agreed that Celestia was placing too much trust in such an underdeveloped pony. For over a year Luna consulted with Zecora and when her nephew, Apocalypto, stumbled into her threshold, Luna accepted him as a trainer for the troops despite his past. The Princess's cause was dubbed the Lunar Republic and Apocalypto was named general. He began sorting through what Luna wanted and decided upon four military divisions all under his supervision, the Shadowbolts would be resurrected, the Darkfangs, the Eclipses, and the Obsidians.

Each division was based off of the unique capabilities of creatures and all what would be required for a secretly rising militia. The Shadowbolts were scouts and only comprised of flying creatures. The Darkfangs were the guard and a mix of all species. The Eclipses were the main military body or the cavalry of the Lunar Legion with all muscles which was also comprised of a mixed creatures. The Obsidians were the most skilled magic users who would act as a secret task force, never letting the public see them even in battle. These four together were called the Lunar Militia.

For the future plans of the Militia, Luna, Zecora, and Apocalypto began to set up a base in the Everfree Forest. A large structure was built over the year between Luna and Apocalypto. After the base was built Zecora began to subtly spread word throughout Ponyville of a unknown zebra. If one wanted to learn of his nightly quests they could meet him a mile past Fluttershy's cottage on the stream that runs past the Everfree Forest.

Now the story is yours. Will you join the Republic or serve the misleading Princess Celestia?

(The rp will keep up to date with the show, incorporating all the episodes. So the Lunar Republic will begin to take form after season five's conclusion.)
