Quick A/N
// Hey guys, I'm currently sick so this chapter may not be the best, but look on the bright side: it's an update! My head is all over the place due to my cold. Sorry guys, but enough from me, here's chapter 9. Hope you enjoy (: //
Matty's P.O.V
As I sit on the hard concrete floor of the unfinished bathroom within the small shop, I bury my head into my hands and think of how much of a tool I am. This wasn't the first time I had bought someone to this hideout when I was high, and every single time, George reminds me how stupid it is. These thoughts keep running through my head until George enters the room and interrupts my thoughts. I look up at the tall figure in front of me.
"You're coming down aren't you?" he stands at the small door with his arms crossed and a stern look on his face.
"Yeah. Fuck off," I mumble to him, shoving my head back into my hands and bringing my knees to my chest.
"No. Honestly Matt what the fuck? Why do you keep doing this shit, do you want us to be ambushed every time we come to Adelaide?"
"Of course I don't!" I yell at him through my hands. He seems to think I'm stupid. Maybe I am.
"Then stop bringing girls here when your high! Is she a fan of us?" he yells back.
"She recognised me I think so yeah."
"Are you fucking serious?" he screams at the top of his lungs. I watch as his explosive anger takes over and he punches the solid brick wall next to him. He grunts in rage and wipes the blood from his knuckles onto his jeans.
"I'm sorry," I mutter, standing up and walking towards him. He puts his head into his hands and walks around in a small circle.
"Don't come near me Matt. I swear I'll punch you in the fucking head."
I sigh and take his orders, crawling back through the small door next to him and seeing the girl and Adam conversing and watching the last flame of the fire in front of them go out. They both look like they're enjoying themselves.
I sit down on a crate near them and interrupt their cosy conversation. "So what's your name?"
She looks at me with her intense blue eyes, a flicker of annoyance behind them. "Why should I tell you?"
The sass was real. "Maybe because I bought you here and no one knows where you are?"
"Jess," she says shortly before turning back to Adam who was staring at me icily. They continue their cute little conversation, as if mine and hers was already finished. I shake my head and reach into my pocket for a cigarette. It's not as good as weed but I had just come down from a high and I usually only get high once per day. More than that would be pushing my luck. I pull out a cigarette and light it using my black lighter. I take a deep drag and exhale noisily, causing Jess and Adam to look at me with irritated looks on their faces. I put the finger up at them, finish the cigarette and flick it to the floor, check my phone which reads 11pm, and look for somewhere to sleep for the night.
I don't see George or Ross before I wander out of the shop and into another store a few feet away, an old mattress store. Handy.

A/N
Hi guys. Just to clear some stuff up:
IM SICK SO THIS CHAPTER WAS PRETTY SHITTY IM SORRY THE NEXT ONE WILL BE MUCH LONGER AND BETTER STAY TUNED!
Yes, they are staying in an abandoned mall because they like authenticity and would rather find their own accommodation rather than have management find a hotel. Those are the characters I'm setting them up to be. Deal with it.
Anywho, I hope you're enjoying the book! I'll update again later this week.
Dont forget to fan, comment, vote and follow me! Love you all,
-Jess xxx
