Chapter 2

The more I watched Emerson the more i got to know her. You may think that because she is a popular party girl that she's a stuck up bitch. But thats not the case with Emerson, she was caring, quite and always laughing. Well so it seemed.

It was exactly two weeks since i moved to Hill side state high school, So far the only people who had spoken a few words to me are my teachers and bloody Theodor. Which when i think back to it wasn't so bad. Im the type of person who likes to stick to himself.

Monday the 5th of August, was the exact date Emerson Todd finally noticed me. I was getting my books out of my locker when she passed by. I acted like i didn't notice her but when i looked up there she was, walking past smiling at me.

Theodor told me that she 'smiles at everyone' and to 'not think so much into it'. But I couldn't get her off my mind. It was like a magnetic force was pulling me toward her, always wanted me to be near her, watching.

Thursday the 8th of August, was the second time Emerson Todd ignoliged my existence. It was in the cafeteria line. I was getting some mash potatoes when she walked up behind me and said "ohh i love mash potatoes".

But Saturday the 10th of August was by far the best. That was the day i saw Emerson Todd picking up groceries with her mum. I was getting apples when she bumped my shoulder and knocked a pink lady apple out of my hand. She quickly apologised and picked up the apple handing it to me with a big smile before she walked off.

I know by now you probably think im a freak, which looking back now i kind of sound like it. The thing was i had never been interested in girls. Every school I went to i just stayed alone and kept my head down. There wasn't time to meet anyone because by the time I would work up the courage to say something to someone my mum would have our bags packed and we were on the road again.

But there was something drawing me to this girl, there was something that made have to talk to her.
