"So, I have some updated news on Mr. Olzanski, his surgery should be over soon. They've stopped the internally bleeding in his lungs as well, but the bad news is that they don't know how strong his breathing is so they'll have to watch him with the tubes and oxygen machine for awhile."
Nurse Janet smiled slightly and squeezed our hands gently as she walked away. Everyone was silent, it was a peaceful silence though, it was as silent as it's gonna be at nearly 7am at the hospital, but it'll all be better soon. Nurse Janet will be back in about 10 minutes or so to keep us updated. Sebastian's mom was handling this better than I was, I had no idea how since I was a wreck. You sat back in the hospital chair, snuggling into Sebastian's hoodie, resting your head on your knees, hugging them tightly. Finally, Cam broke the silence after the ten minutes of nobody talking since the news Nurse Janet left us.
"It's almost 7am, let's walk down to the hospital cafeteria to get something to eat, it'll make us feel kinda better, plus they'll page us if something happens to Sebastian."
Cam said with a little smile trying to lighten the mood.
You kindly declined as everyone else left, you didn't want to leave his side, you loved him too much.
