Set Free

I realize while reminiscing the past

The only cage that has trapped is me

Holding myself back because of fear

I've doubted myself but nevermore

I open the door to my own cage

To set myself free from all restrains

It's only then I realize

That there's nothing to lose

I unshackle myself from these chains

Chains set by society, culture and tradition

All that was holding me back is gone

I take a step out of my cage

I feel my heart beating faster

I've always been afraid of the unknown but nevermore
