Tell me that you no longer need me

So I can give up on chasing you

There i've said the words on my mind

I'm tired of this hurting

Truth is i'm nervous now

Your reply is is all I need

To set me free of the nightmares that haunt me

I wish I could say we'd make it

So one last time remind me if you can

Remind me of what we felt on our first embrace

The warmth of that embrace lingers in memory

My body's accepted the coldness of today

So let it rain down on me

Cleanse me of my feelings

Feelings of longing and desperation

I keep on standing so she does't know
