Farewell

Fluttering wings plucked in envy

Beautiful masks shattered in hate

A heart that's blocked all entry

All that matters now abate

A black rose in a veil of thorns

Dyed by a darkness that envelops

Shackled by all of today's norms

Burdened with it all she develops

Tears streaming like a waterfall

One last ride on life's carousel

She listens peacefully to the rainfall

For today is her eternal farewell
