*6 WEEKS LATER
for the past 6 weeks they have been working on trying to regain there trust they had before and it was finally beginning to feel like it was all coming back although they still weren't back together yhey have been spending all the time they could together
Today they were going to have there 12 week scan to make sure everything was ok with the baby
*AT THE DOCTORS
they were sitting in tne room waiting for the doctor to enter to start
" i think we should tell everyone about the baby they are going to find out soon when you go back to the ambo" said matt " i think your right i mean i am transfering next week so they will probbably ask why so we should tell them but what if they ask questions about us like if we are together again" gabby said " than we will tell them the truth that we are working on it" matt said
Just than the doctor walked in " are you ready to begin" the doctor asked " yes " said matt and gabby at the same time sounding very excited "ok look at the monitor and you will see your baby and everything looks fine " the doctor said both matt and gabby looked at the monitor with amazed looks and teard in there eyes " would you like a photo" asked the doctor "yes" said gabby as matt was still to stunned to talk he couldnt belive that they both created an amazing baby
*LATER THAT DAY
as matt and gabby arived at the fire house they saw the chief and thought that they should see him first before telling the others as he already knew about the baby because ofnthe transfer "so how did everything go " the chief asked " it was amazing and everything is perfect " matt said smiling "well i guess congratulaions are in order than " he said smiling at the two knowing that becoming a parent is an amazing gift "so when are you going to tell everyone" the chief asked both matt and gabby looked at each other and said "now"
As the three of them walked put everyone knew somthing was up expecially brett and severide both of them noticed a change in there friends " can i have everyones attention please matt and gabby have an anouncement to make" said the chief so everyone stoped what they were doing all looked up wondering what was happening
" we have somthing we want to tell you all next week gabby is going to be back on ambo" matt said "why " both cruz and otis asked as the same time and everyone alse nodded wanting to know "because im pregnant me and matt are having a baby" gabby anounced " congratulations" herman yelled "but when did you two get back together" " we havent got back together in was a moment of weekness but we are working on it and hopefully before the baby comes we will be together" matt said and when gabby looked up at him and smiled then he knew that it wouldnt be to long till they were together again and so did gabby
After alot of questions and congratulations form everyone they decided to go back to gabbys and talk
"I know we are not back together yet but i think that we should move in together thats if you want to i just think that maybe we can work on thing more and get everythi g reaxy for the baby indont want to miss out on any of it " matt said.
gabby smiled at matt rambling on sounding both nervous and hopefull"you know i think that would be a great idea but we are going to need a house not an apartment if we are going to be a family " gabby replied "first thing tomorrow we are going to start looking" matt said they were both excited for the future when they looked at each other they knew that everything would be ok matt decided that if they were going to move in together it was now or never and decided to kiss her and when he did gabby responded and for the rest of the night they didnt split
they both forgot about the past and looked to the future
