I might have found a few sorrows
In the shadow of my own rainbows
Though they're fading, they're still a part
of my turbulent, invisible heart
There are words that shouldn't have been
Then, would my love still be unseen?
Would the writing on the walls be different
If I had used ink that wasn't permanent?
I took the time to find the sun
But when I did, the day was done
And I can't return the sky's lovely hues
by painting the night with the color blue
Some moments were lost in the blackness as well
Travelling as regrets to who-knows-where
As I drift through the melancholy sea
I accept that some things just could not be
How could my care be possibly seen
In a world so desperate to feel
From whom? From souls who make them smile;
Not from invisible hearts like mine
