Shiloh's POV

I had been waiting on this day for months, and I couldn't believe it was here and I was living it at the very moment. I was sitting on the couch at home with Calum, watching our favorite tv show when the mailman slipped some letters through our door. I instantly got up, Calum trailing not to far behind me as I raced for the door. I sorted out our pile of letters.

Calum had wanted to go to the same college as me, so we split. I got to pick 2 colleges, and he got to pick 2. We both sent in applications to all 4 and we had finally just gotten the letters today.

"Let's do the ones you picked first." I smiled, wanting to save mine for last, just in case. Calum nodded, smiling hard at me as he picked up a letter.

"University of Sydney."

I knew he wanted to go back home so bad, so when he suggested Sydney, I didn't have a problem with it. I would love him to go back home, especially to go to college.

We both picked up the same letter and began to open it. His face instantly lit up as he read the letter. "Did you get in?" I asked, smiling.

"Yes!!!!" he squealed excited. "Did you?"

I nodded my head and smiled, causing him to get even more excited. I've never seen someone so excited for college—except myself. "Next." I smile, putting down the letter and letting him pick the next one.

"University of California."

We both picked up the letters and began opening. His face fell as he read the letter, leading me to assuming he didn't make it in. I didn't either.

"It's okay babe, I didn't get in either."

"I'm just happy I got into Sydney. Let's do yours now."

I nodded, picking up a letter. "University of Hawaii." I smiled, opening the letter before he even picked his up. I couldn't help but get excited when I read that I was accepted. The only con about Hawaii, they had no sports that I wanted to play and sports is a big part of my life.

"I got in, woah." Calum gasped. I couldn't help but smile. I knew he would get in.  "Did you?"

"Hell yeah, I did." I smiled widely, picking up the last letter.

"Coastal Carolina."

I ripped open the letter, this was the one I wanted the most.

"I made it!" We both squealed in unison, looking up instantly and smiling at each other. "We have a decision to make." Calum smiled. "What do you want to do? You were the one who inspired me, I want you to make the choice, even if the choice isn't Sydney."

I was proud of him for doing this with me, and even wanting to do it. He was leaving his best friends and his career that he loved so much to go to school with a girl that he had only know for a short amount of time and he was willing to let me choose a school that wasn't Sydney.

"I really want you to go to Sydney." I started, not knowing exactly how to word this. "But, you know how big sports is for me and Sydney doesn't have many sports. Maybe you can go to Sydney and I'll go to Coastal?"

Calum's face fell. He walked up to me and cupped my cheeks with his hands. "Baby, I'm going where you're going. End of story. Costal it is." He smiled before kissing me.

"Alright, Coastal it is, let's accept this damn letter." I smiled, grabbing Cal's hand and heading to the computer.
