When we got to Hagrid's he motioned for us to come inside before heading out to get something for Ron.

"Op well this calls for specialist equipment. Nothing to do but wait till it stops I'm afraid." Hagrid said as he handed Ron a bucket as Ron threw up another slug into the bucket this time.

"Ugh ok." Harry said patting Ron's back.

"Better out than in." Hagrid said, "Who was Ron trying to curse anyway?"

"Malfoy." Harry said

"Draco." I said at the same time

"He called Hermione um well I don't know exactly." Harry said

"He called her a mudblood but I haven't heard that term before." I said

Hermione got up and walked away crossing her arms as Hagrid gasped and said, "He did not."

"What's a mudblood?" Harry and I asked

"It means dirty blood mudblood a really foul name for someone who is muggle born. Someone with none magic parents someone like me." Hermione said as she turned around and walked towards us. "It's not a term you usually hear in a civilized conversation." She leaned against the wall.

"See the thing is Harry, (Y/N) there's some wizards like the Malfoy family who think they're better than everyone else because there what people call pure bloods." Hagrid said and I internally flinched since that was the password to get into Slytherin house.

"That's horrible!" Harry said as Ron threw up another slug.

"It's disgusting." Ron said having a completely disgusted face.

"And it's cause wallop. Dirty blood why there isn't a wizard alive today that's not half blood or less more to the point they've yet to think of a spell that our Hermione can't do. Come here." Hagrid said holding his hands out to Hermione. "Don't you think about it Hermione don't you think on it for one minute ok?" With that we all left for the day to attend the rest of our classes.

At lunch I sat down at the table and waited for Draco to sit with me. When he sat down and tried to hold my hand I pulled away and faced him glad it was loud enough that most people wouldn't be able to hear us. "How could you call her a mudblood Draco? That is a vile thing to call someone and I don't approve of it!" I said glaring at him.

"Father raised me to hate all mudbloods or anyone who isn't a pureblood." Draco said

"Then you should hate me cause I'm not pureblood." I said crossing my arms, "My mother was muggle born for your information so that means I'm not pureblood do you hate me?"

He stared at me for a minute blinking his eyes in astonishment, "No I don't hate you I couldn't your my beautiful girl." He said

"Then don't say you have to hate everyone who isn't a pureblood that's terrible Draco." I said

"I can't stop the way I act but I promise every time I use that term on that Granger girl I won't really mean it, it'll be just for show alright?" He said.

"Fine but you better mean what you say right now or I'll curse you with the slug curse that backfired on poor Ron." I said

"Are you sure it won't backfire on you?" He said smiling holding my hand.

"Nope because my wands not broken sir." I said giggling softly and began to eat my lunch.

"(Y/N), (Y/N), (Y/N), Harry, Harry, Harry can you possibly imagine a better way to serve detention than by helping my answer my fan mail." Lockhart asked
