Chapter 14

As we got deeper into the woods Ron was still complaining, "Harry, (Y/N) I don't like this." He said, "You guys I don't like this at all."

"Hush." We both said as I turned and put my fingers over my lips signaling for him to be quiet.

Soon we stopped In front of a cave where it seemed all the spiders were going, "Can we go back now?" Ron asked sounding very panicked.

"Come on!" Harry said determined as we entered into the cave Fang going first. I could hear Ron start to hyperventilate and I just put my hand on his shoulder comfortingly as we headed deeper inside. Soon we got to a huge opening hearing something large move.

"Who is it?" A deep voice asked.

"Don't panic." Harry said calmly as I held his hand tightly and Ron grabbed my hand squeezing it hard in fear.

"Hagrid? Is that you?" The deep voice asked again.

"We're friends of Hagrid." Harry said as huge spider legs came up from a hole revealing the largest spider ever. The ones you would see in horror films bringing chaos to a town. "And you.. You're Aragog aren't you?"

"Yes," the spider breathed out, "Hagrid has never sent men into our hollow before."

"He's in trouble." I said before shutting up quickly when the spider looked at me.

"About the school there have been attacks." Harry said the spider going back to him. "They think it's Hagrid. They think he opened the Chamber of Secrets like before."

"That's a lie!" The spider said sounding angry. "Hagrid never opened the Chamber of Secrets."

"Then you're not the monster." Harry said softly.

"No! The monster was born in the castle. I came to Hagrid from a distant land in the pocket of a traveler."

"Harry, (Y/N)!" Ron squeaked in a very high pitched voice.

"Shush." Harry said barely looking at Ron.

"But if you're not the monster.. Than what did kill that girl fifty years ago?" Harry asked confused.

"We do not speak of it! It is an ancient creature we spiders fear above all others." Aragog said

"But have you seen it?" Harry asked.

"I never saw any part of the castle but the box in which Hagrid kept me." He said, "The girl was discovered in a bathroom when I was accused Hagrid brought me here."

"Harry!" Ron said

"What!?" Harry asked exasperated and Ron just kinda cries pointing up. Looking up we noticed that a bunch of large spiders were making their way towards us. Looking back at the large spider Harry cleared his throat, "Well thank you. We'll just go." He started backing up pulling Ron and I with him.

"Go? I think not, my sons and daughters do not harm Hagrid on my command but I cannot deny them fresh meat who have wandered so willingly into our mist. Goodbye friends of Hagrid." Aragog said

"Should we panic now?" Ron asked looking at Harry and I.

Harry started hitting the spiders before he dropped the lamp pulling out his wand. "Know any spells?" Ron asked.

"One but it's not powerful enough for all of them." Harry said

"Where Hermione when you need her?" Ron asked his voice squeaking.

As the spiders closed in around us a pair of lights burst on and in came Rons car that had thrown us out of it driving it up to us it opened up the doors.
