Chapter 3

All of a sudden, I was pulled back as I ran for the group but my hand caught on one of the blonde's ratchet extensions, pulling her head down with me. I felt someone grabbing my arms keeping me back while I struggled to pull my arms out.

"LET ME GO! WHO THE FLYING HELICOPTER IS PULLING ME BACK?!?" I shriek while kicking my legs up behind me. I heard a groan behind me so I turned around to see Zach on the floor holding his crotch. I burst out laughing while pointing at him and I look up to see that the bimbos are walking off. I held out my hand to help Zach but the stupid idiot decided to pull me down to the floor.

"ZACH!" I groaned. I stood up while brushing my arms but as i do so, I hear a loud scream pierce through the air. I quickly grabbed Zach's arm and pulled him with me, past the group of blondes and ran outside to the courtyard. I see a group of seniors shouting at a freshman with nerd glasses. I ran up to them, leaving Zach and I pushed the small kid behind me.

"Hey you! Why are you bullying this kid for aye?" I walked up slowly, pushing my fingers on his chest making him stagger backwards. Zach was in the back laughing! If he didn't know, he isn't helping much.

"Aw look at you trying to be tough. I'd hate to hurt a girl so stay out of my way." One of the guys said while smirking. I smirked back. They all looked at me with surprised emotions and then all of the sudden, fear clouded their eyes. I crossed my arms but they started to move backwards then decided to sprint into the hallway. I dropped my smirk, feeling that someone was behind me. I slowly turned around and saw..

"ZACH! Oh my lord I thought they were gonna beat me up and I didn't know what to do so I tried to make them feel scared but they kept smirking at me! Why are they so scared of you anyways? Oh by the way, I didn't have time to bring any lunch so if you didn't know, I'm very hung-" I was cut off from my rambling.

"I'm alpha, sweetheart." He smiled at me.

"Yeah I know that but-" Zach cuts me off again so I glare at him.

"They're from my pack so they should be scared otherwise I would've made them go rogue for bullying that kid." He said while crossing his arms.

"Ohhh" I slowly drag out. I look around and panic started to flow through me.

"Zach! Where did the kid go?" I panicked while looking around for him.

"Don't worry about him, I sent him to the nurse." He patted my back. I smacked his arm off.

"You idiot! He wasn't even hurt!" I exclaimed.

"Well he could've been! You missy need to go to class now. You missed first period already! Come on." He grabbed my arms once again, dragging me to first period.
