Chapter 14: Safe Zone {UNFIXED}

I got to work and everyone was shocked by my medical skills. I watched Dad operate on people endlessly, before he died. That's how I learned a lot of stuff. Louis held Elissa's hand the whole time. Gina hummed Taylor Swift's Stay Beautiful in the background. I then put Elissa to sleep.

-Julia's POV-

I watched as Taylor woke Elissa up in awe. Everyone stood amazed. Elissa was cured of Meningitis. Gina ran over to Elissa, and gave her a hug. "Right," Niall started, "we need to get going. I'm sure Harry, Eleanor, Andrei, and Josie are getting impatient by now." I picked up my gun. Taylor nodded and led the way out.

When we got outside, it was like walking into a battlefield. At least 40 zombies were lying lifeless around the bus. Harry and Andrei smiled cockily as they clanked their sniper guns together. Liam opened the door of the bus and we got inside. "Can someone please drive instead of me?" Liam begged, his eyes drooping. Louis chuckled, nodded, and took the wheel. Elissa went to the room again so she could lie down.

Liam, Taylor, Zayn, Jenny, Josie, and -I shuddered slightly- Eleanor decided to go to sleep as well, so the rest of us who were awake had to be quiet. It was hard, though, as Louis kept humming "Sexy and I Know It" from the driver's seat. It took everything in me not to whack him in the head with Gina's baseball bat. I walked to the living room with Gina, Stephanie, Michelle, and Lisa. Niall, Harry, and Andrei were in their room.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked them, picking up a piece of bubble gum. I opened the wrapper and popped the bubble gum inside my mouth. "..Scrabble?" Michelle asked, holding up a Scrabble box. I smiled and nodded my head, as did Lisa, Stephanie, and Gina.

We sat down on the circle, then suddenly, the whole bus shook furiously. The girls and I fell on our backs. "What the bloody hell was that?" Lisa questioned, rubbing her head. I stood up and went to a window. "Oh, God," I muttered. "Louis ran over like 14 zombies." I eyed the green slime the tires of the bus were leaving. "Hah! F*ck you, ya weak idiots!" A voice yelled triumphantly. "Who the heck was that?" Stephanie asked, chuckling. "I think that was Louis." Michelle shrugged.

-Louis' POV-

I took another sip of my coffee. How did Liam even survive driving without getting knocked out?

I saw quite a few zombies on the road, thinking they were stronger than the huge two-decked bus I'm driving. Their bloodshot eyes were challenging me. I smirked and stomped my foot on the acceleration, and ran them down. Their guts spilled out along with green slime. "Hah! F*ck you, ya weak idiots!" I exclaimed arrogantly. It was like a video game, really. I heard footsteps coming here. I craned my head to see Eleanor. I tried not to grimace. "Hey, Boo! You look tired. Do you want me to take over?" She asked. I accepted her offer warily. I parked on the side of the road, and took off my seatbelt. "Go get some rest," she told me, and I nodded, still doubtful. I made my way to the girls' room so I could stay with Elissa. 

I opened the door quietly. She was asleep, snoring softly. I smiled. I bet she's dreaming about me, I'm so sexy I could be in anyone's dreams. Elissa started to smile in her sleep. She is definitely dreaming about me.

I sat down on the side of the bed. I heard the door open, and footsteps approached me quietly. "Hi, Louis," Gina greeted me. I nodded to her in response and watched as Gina opened her luggage and pulled out her earphones. She plugged them into her iPod, pressed play, and then I heard Taylor Swift's quiet voice telling Gina that she should keep her Eyes Open.
