Chapter Eighteen

It was the day of my moms funeral. While I was in my room getting dressed I heard a knock on the door. I zipped up the dress and opened the door. When I opened it I saw my aunt and grandma standing there staring smiling in my face.

"Massani we made our final decision you gonna be living with me." My aunt Sherrie said.
I no I had no choice so I sat quiet I took a deep breath as I tried to hold back my anger.

*Skipping to after funeral*

It was after the funeral service and everybody was at the cemetery giving there final goodbyes. I felt my knees get weak as I watched the casket go into the ground. I looked to the side seeing my brother in tears. I walked over to him and hugged him tightly as I cried with him.

We were now at my grandma's to have dinner I felt sick so I didn't eat I just sat in the guest room by myself. Someone knocked so I let them in.

"Its open." I said in a whisper.

I looked and saw Eric. He greeted me with a tight hug and sat down on the couch.

" You good?" He asked while I laid on his chest.

"Yea I guess." I said in between sniffles. "But I have to live with my aunt. I said tearing up.

"You serious." He asked while wrapping his arms around me.

I nodded my head and made myself comfortable.

"Even though you leavin I'll still see you." He said in a low tone.

His raspy voice made me want to melt. I felt so comfortable and safe in his arms but I knew that would probably be the last time me being with him.
