After me and Ryan got done discussing what happened, he dropped me off at home. As I expected, Steven was on the couch waiting up for me. I said hello and made my way to my room.
Today was a long day and I felt in the mood for a long bath. I grabbed my toiletry bag and robe and walked to my bathroom. I let the water run making sure it was at a warm temperature, then walked down stairs to check on Steven. As I walked to the basement I heard him talking on the phone in heated discussion. I stopped by the door and listened I wouldn't say I was being nosey but hey, he's living in my house and I've got to know what's going on around here. After 5 minutes of listening closely, I then remembered that I had the water running.
I quickly but silently made my way back to my room. I went straight to my bathroom then turned off the water. The water and purple bubbles looked relaxing and inviting.. Fuck it I can always check on Steven later. I peeled off my layers of clothing and slipped into the bathtub. I let all my problems and worries dissolve while I enjoyed the warmth of the water. Most of the bubbles were gone but the water was still warm so it was relaxing.
"Crap!" I said to myself, slightly cursing at myself in the process. Finally remembering that I was supposed to call my parents to tell them that I was doing okay. Then on the other hand, my brother was suppose to be visiting me and I hadn't got the chance to tell him that Steven was staying here. But they are really good friends so he probably won't mind.
