Vince POV- I woke up in the Aphrodite cabin with James, son of Poseidon, leaning over me. "It's like 5 am! What could you possibly want at 5 in the morning!" I say in a tired yet mad tone of voice. "Chiron has called a meeting and since you're a counselor you should most likely go there" James replies. "Ugh fineeeee" I say as I get up. I get dressed and go outside to meet Jessie.
Jessie POV- I hate waking up at 5 in the morning. I'm waiting outside for for Vince to come out and when he finally does it's almost 5:45 "C'mon were gonna be late. Chiron said to be there at 6:00!" He gives me a sleepy look and we head to counsel room to meet all the other counselors. We were walking too slow so I grabbed Vince's hand and started walking faster.
Vince POV- We finally arrived at the Big ouse. We entered and found no one. "Strange..." I say to myself as I take out my stygian black dagger. "Keep,your guard up" I tell Jessie. She nods her head an summons her sword with her ring she has on her finger. We walk around the big house but can't find anyone. "Where are they?" I say to Jessie. "I don't know" Jessie replies. "Come on" I say as I lead her out of the room. We find James. "Hey James. Where in Hades is everyone?" I ask him. "I have no idea" he replies with a worried look. Suddenly I spot movement in the forest. I hold my dagger ready. "Who's there?" A girl around my age walks out. She's wearing legionnaire armor. "Roman" I say to the girl. "What's your name?" "Belle, daughter of Bellona". She replies. "What's your purpose in Camp Half-Blood?" I ask her. "I know where the rest of your camp is." She replies nervously. "Where!" I demand. "The roman camp. The gods are in a war. I'm here to help." She says. "Come. Let's go to the Big House. You'll explain yourself there."
