The War of Gods

Chapter 5

Jessie POV- Seeing my brother kiss a Roman was shocking. But right now I couldn't question that, right now we were being attacked by the Romans. I recognized some the faces there. Sadly the were my brothers and sisters from Athena's cabin but I couldn't do anything. I ether I have to fight or die. I summon my sword from my ring and run into battle, James right behind we fight back in back only wounding the others. Luna was fighting side by side with Reginald "Jessie summon more skeletons!" I hear my brother scream and I do so. I summon almost all the skeletons I could in one shot "Jessie!" I hear James scream as I'm falling. I couldn't move I was to weak, but I saw that James was doing everything in his power to protect me.
James POV- After seeing Jessie fall I knew it wasn't good. I drew my dual wield swords and started wounding anyone that came near her. I pulled water from the lake drowning the soldiers. I decided to call in my pegasus, BlueFoam. BlueFoam finally arrived "BlueFoam I'm going to put this girl on your back. Her name is Jessie, take her to the Hades cabin. Understand?" BlueFoam whinny in agreement and flew away. I caught up to Vince and Belle "Where's Jessie?" Vince asked with and angry tone "She's in Hades cabin. She summoned to many skeletons at once and passed out." Vince nods "Finish this and get these people the heck out of our camp." And he shadow travel to the cabin.
Jessie POV- I woke up in my fathers cabin with my brother and James siting next to my bed "Wh-What happened?" Vince strokes my hair "You summoned to many skeletons and passed out." "I did what?" I say shocked. I sit up "what about the others?" Belle comes forward "I didn't even notice her." "The Romans retreated and took the wounded with them." They finished the battle "We need to get to the other Gods and Goddesses." Vince stops stroking my hair "No we don't you need rest. C'mon Belle let's get some food and bring it back. James keep and eye on her." He left with Belle "Well this is just great." After a little I get up and walk out of the cabin. "Vince and Belle should be back by now." I say to myself. I walk around and notice the Aphrodite cabin opened. "Perhaps he went into there" I say as I walk towards the cabin. I peek in the cabin and see my brother making out with the Roman. "Gross." I say to myself and walk away sneakily. I find James in the Hades cabin. "Hey what are you doing here?" I ask him. "I came to check on you and give you your food. Vince and Belle told me to bring it to you since they had something to do" he replies. I know exactly what they meant. "Strange" I say not wanting to tell him. "Hey well while we wait for whatever they're doing, wanna go swimming?" James asks me. "Sure" I reply and he leads me to the lake.
