Ch.10 Magic Training Progress.

Zoltan - Do you know what magic is?

Yusuke - No

Zoltan - Time to explain what magic is. Magic is a part of Ki but a bit different. Ki is for the most part something you create by altering reality to fit what you want to create this is always something that has to make contact with you. While magic is a bit different. In magic you alter the elements to you will and make them do what you want. The problem with magic is that you need time to chant your spells and set up of your magic circles. You can ignore the magic circle to a certain degree by wearing a glove, but the problem with gloves is that it only can you one element and it can only have 2 spells for each glove. If you wear a pair thats still only 4 spells. They are also very expensive. Plus we sorcerers cast spells at a long range so they are only good for stalling while your casting a powerful spell since they can only help cast simple spells. The other way is if you find a Saint rank magic item that allows you to cast spells quicker. Do you understand what I'm saying?

Yusuke - Yes

Zoltan - Great, then lets start altering reality. It may sound easy, but its much harder than learning techniques. The first magic your going to learn is Ice Ball, and Ice Shard. To learn magic try and feel the elements around the world. Then use your Ki to force it to change it want you need.

Yusuke POV - I'm trying to alter ice for the first time but it difficult, and I don't really understand how to do it. While I kept trying to understand it Argos comes closes to me and started to watch me. A few seconds later he starts casting his magic but it becomes unstable and blows up.

Zoltan POV - While I was watching that boy Yusuke, I notice this small dog coming close to him. I was expecting to see his soul beast to be a huge dog like all his relatives, but it turns out to be a tiny little dog. Then i see this little dog trying to cast magic, but it fails. I was extremely surprise to see a soul beast with magic. In this world about 90% of soul beast are physical Ki. The other 10% are magic Ki users.

Zoltal - Yusuke it look like your dog has a talent for magic. Let's test out what magic does and try and teach him as well.

Yusuke - Okay, Elder Zoltan. Can we also test my other soul beast Leo

Zoltan - YOU HAVE ANOTHER SOUL BEAST! THAT'S OUTRAGES MY BOY. BRING HIM OVER AS WELL.

Yusuke calls for both Argos and Leo

Elder Zoltan take out two white crystals from his interspacial ring.

Zoltan - Yusuke tell your soul to use their Ki to touch a crystal.

Yusuke - Argos Leo you heard him

Both Argos and Leo touch the white crystal. Argos crystal shines very bright. It changes from pure white to white and black, but its as if their having a match for superiority. Leo on the other hand stay white.

Zoltan - Its incredible you soul beast Argos has higher magic powers then even you. His magic Elements are Dark an Light, but just like its master it can't use any other magic. While Leo on the other hand can't use magic like most people.

After Yusuke heard this he told Zoltan to wait a moment. He left to tell his mother the news, while also asking her if she could train Leo, because it would be unfair that Argos would get stronger while Leo stays the same. She agreed to train him for a while, but then said that in 4 months she would tell Thorpath to help train Leo.

After this Yusuke and Argos stated to train in magic and at the end of the year. They had both learn a few magic spells. Yusuke learned Ice Ball, Ice Shard, Frost Breath, Ice Blade, Freeze Dry, Freeze Shock, and the strongest one Blizzard. Argos learned Punishment, Dark Pulse, Dark Void, Holy Blast,Heavens Ground, Heavens Judgment.

Yusuke POV - If we compare the amount of magic I and Argos learn it looks like we learn about the same, but Argos magic is way stronger than my magic. My strongest magic Blizzard is only as strong as strong as his weakest move Punishment. I guess this is the difference between me and a genius at magic.

Zolton POV - That dog Argos is dangerous. In just a year he learned almost all of the best magics for the elements he uses. He didn't want to accept to learn anything below Punishment. At this pace he will surpass me by next year and by the end of the year after his will be peerless in magic. Its a good thing he's on our side, but I must report this to Thorpath. 

Yusuke left the training area and started to walk into the secret area, but senses killing intent.....
