May’s POV
In The Car
“So who hired you anyway? Because we certainly didn’t ask for a ‘security team’- or whatever you guys call yourselves.” Sofia asked, looking at our bodyguards suspiciously.
She had some sort of hunch that the two men were stalker fans who were planning on kidnapping us. I don’t even know where she comes up with these ideas.
I swear the girl has the mind of a five year old. Yet she was still invited to study at the best university in the world. I don’t understand, I’ve tried hard and failed.
“Your parents.” Enchong Dee answered simply, keeping his eyes on the road
“Our parents?” I looked at Sofia “Did your parents say anything about a security team before we left?” Sofia frowned a little, tapping her chin in thought
“Well, my mum did say something about bodyguards meeting us at the airport for protection against our crazy fans but I figured she was just joking…” She replied after a while. I rolled my eyes
“You are actually the dumbest most stupidest person I have ever met.” I said as I face palmed
“Well, would you believe your mum if she said the same?”
I stayed silent, that was a pretty good point
“We’re here.” Xian Lim said
