As her eyes flutter open, the first thing she saw was the white ceiling. Everything was silent. Quiet. Not a noise to be heard. As if . . . it was just her.

Then, it came. A loud thud. Mutters. And soon, they formed voices.

"God dammit, HURRY UP! THAT'S MY FRIEND, YOU KINKY LUNATIC!" An awfully familiar voice roared, Aira shot up in a sitting position, frightened by the words the man said. As her eyes landed in the blonde boy who stood, she felt her heart sink as she gaze upon the man who's hair was sdark as the night.

Its eyes hidden underneath its eyelids. She felt broken.

"Ian?" She called, Kurt jerked his head to where his friend was "Aira." He whispered in disbelief. This was the last thing she wanted to see right now. For Christ's sake, she just woke up from a four-week coma! And then she find this?

"Ian?" She called, a little too loud this time, but to no avail, a nurse assisted Aira as one of them carried Ian out of the room.

"Ma'am, I assure you. Everything is going to be alrig-" Aira planted her palm across the nurse's cheeks, "DON'T TELL ME EVERYTHING'S GOING TO BE ALRIGHT LIKE NOTHING JUST HAPPENED! THE GUY I LOVED MORE THAN FOREVER WAS LAYING STILL ON THE FLOOR THE MOMENT I WOKE UP FROM A COMA! AND YET YOU TELL ME EVERYTHING'S ALRIGHT?" she screamed intensely. Kurt and the nurse had just been taken aback by the action Aira had committed.

"I'm sorry." The nurse shamefully apologized and scurried away before she gets slapped once again. Leaving the door close, Aira glance at Kurt who happen to be wearing such an amused yet horrified look across his face.

"Damn, woman. I didn't know you had that in you." He gestured to all of her, "I was surprised myself, too." Aira giggled but soon, her face darkened, "What happened?"

Kurt shook his head, "One moment he was up, eager to fetch you the strawberry milkshake you want. Next thing I knew, he's lying perfectly still on the concrete floor. I was . . . confused. I didn't know what to do or what to say. As if all my common sense was washed away." He breathed, running his hand through his dirty blonde hair. Making it ever more messier than it already was.

"Hey, hey!" Aira called, Kurt met her forgiving gaze, "It's okay. It wasn't your fault." She smiled soft, Kurt nodded as he plopped himself down the chair Aira supposed they slept in.

"How long was I out?" She questioned.

"4 weeks. How'd you know you were in a comma?"

Aira pointed the noticeable beard across his face, "Because of that. Normally, you'd shave the living cheese outta those hairs. But you didn't."

Kurt narrowed his eyes, "I had my own personal reason as to why I haven't shaved, Ms.Callaghan." he spoke frigidly.

Aira smirked, "And what is that, Mr.Ekberg?"

Kurt smirked but soon it softened, "It's hard to pretend nothing ever happens." He sighed, tears lingered at the corner of his eyes.

Aira nodded, "Indeed."
