I was born Tanya Olivia Foster on September 3rd, 1997 in Wilmington National Hospital, North Carolina, USA.
We moved to Lexington, Kentucky, when I was 4 years old, because my dad had to work there.
My sister Ashley Michelle came out from my mum's vagina on December 24th, 2001. She was such a lovely girl.
Then, when Ash was 2, we moved to Ellendale, North Dakota.
And finally, Riley Howard came out on April 30th. He was the only boy in our family besides my dad.
The next year, my parents divorced, because my dad became a drug addicted, he started smoking, so my mum went to the court and asked for divorce.
I was sad when my dad picked up his things and went out of our house.
I was already going to school, so I understood.
I always dressed up as a girly girl when I was at school and when my mum was around.
But one day, I was with my aunt Laura - she is lesbian, we were in a toy shop, I was looking around for some great toys...
"Auntie auntie! Buy me these!"
I was so happy I found them. It was a lil box with some fake mustaches.
"Fake mustaches? Oh no honey... You should buy Barbies..."
"But I want 'em..."
She decided to buy them, I asked her if she couldn't tell it to my mum, and she promised me she wouldn't.
We went to Laura's house, and around it there were a lot of houses, all full of families.
We went in, and I ran to the bathroom.
"Honey? Why so fast?"
"Because I wanna try on a mustache!"
"You lil crazy..."
While I was unboxing the mustaches, I looked at the mirror and... I didn't see a girl.. Or a happy girl. I saw a sad boy who wanted to come out. I shook my head a bit, then I chose a mustache and placed it on the "mustache place".
I was happier than any other person in the world in that moment.
I went out of the bathroom and went to my aunt.
"Auntie? How do I look?"
"OMG honey you look so good... Wanna try some manly clothes?"
"Of course!"
So, I started dressing like a boy only at my aunt's house.
I was sad to go home because I had to leave my mustache... I wore it night and day, literally.
I thought I was a boy, but I still kept my long hair and my feminine clothes with my mum and at school. What a fake life.
