Chapter 3.

One month later, I cut my hair.
My mum accepted my choice and helped me a lot.
"'Cause at least, I'm your mom. I have to support you."
I still remember her words.
When the hairdresser ended his work, I saw the light.
I couldn't believe it. I was becoming a man.
After that, we went to the store to buy some new clothes, I finally could buy everything I wanted to.
It was July 2010, I was still 13.
The next day we went to the doctor to ask him if I could start the therapy.
"Hello Mrs. Foster, hi Tanya."
"Hi."
"So, you want to be a boy, right?"
"Yes. That's right."
"How old are you?"
"I'm 13 years old right now but I'm turning 14 in two months."
"Well, you're too yoing to start taking testosterone, but you can come back to me when you're gonna be 14. Then, I'll give you the therapy guide and the process will start."
I smiled so brightly.
"Thank you Doctor, we'll come back on September 3rd."
We walked out and went back home.
I couldn't wait until that time, so I bought a fake dick (always with my auntie Laura) and put it between my legs... It was such a wonderful feeling!
I wore it since my birthday, then, we went back to the doctor.
"Good morning Alice, Tanya... Ok, first, happy birthday, and second, I need to tell you something before you go. So, here's the testosterone. You have to do an injection once a day, and everyone at the same hour. Since you're getting testosterone, your periods will "delete"."
"Thank God."
"Periods have never been easy on young men. Step 2, when you'll be 16, you can do the breasts surgery."
"Wait wait, God has been nice for one thing to me and he didn't give me boobs."
"Ok, that's better. At 18 you can do the penis surgery, but think about it. That's dangerous."
"I wanna be a man so... I'll do it."
"Since you're doing testosterone, you better go change your name, legally. I'm gonna give you this paper, which needs to be signed."
"Thank you Doctor."
Okay, on September 3rd, I started taking testosterone and my path for my gender was started.
